You know you bought a horrific product if the supplier says „just go backwards in the instructions“ and it doesn‘t even come close to how you do it. Not the only Joie product with assembly/disassembly problems. Absolute nightmare products, do not buy Joie and you do yourself the biggest favour!

It says to just engage the impact protection but not how to … I think they have a deal with baby bunting cause the instructions are too vague. Like this is where the QR code on the actual seat send you and the written instructions you get are not anymore help either.

The top belt that goes to the back of the seat annoys the heck out of me, it is so hard to put a new born baby in & out with those straps
@joieaustralia6170 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your note. The top tether is used on all Australian car seats and substantially improves the safety of a child in an accident. One tip is to lift the back of the seat, slip the tether off the blue clip - and then place your little one in the seat. This nanes you don't need to use the tether adjustment buckle. Replace the tether, ensuring it is not loose.

Is the top tether strap required or is it an additional safety measure?
@EmmaBender-w1h Жыл бұрын
why does the release button for the top tether point inwards? its extremely hard to loosen the top tether once its been pulled tight
@greenapple9231 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the installation guidance. Need to emphasize that the middle base should only be pushed down after the short sides and the long sides are clicked into position. If you pushed the middle base first, you can't straighten both the short sides and long sides. Thanks.

Why the Australian Standard has to be always different from rest of the world?🤦🏻
@joieaustralia61702 жыл бұрын
Hi Kamran, Different markets have different standards. Europe and USA are distinctly different. Canada and Australia vary again. Scandinavia now expect children to be rear facing in a car seat to 8 years. Other places have a variety of rules relating to baby & child products. This is before we even look at mandatory and voluntary standards. The most important thing to remember is that children have never been safer - no matter what the local regulations are.

In the first belt installation (0:55) you have both the lap band and the body strap go through the baby seat, soon after (1:11) while explaining the tether you have the body strap against the seat and only the lap band through the waist belt slot. Which is the correct position?

Yeah I’m having the same issue, every other seat fits fine but this one is as if the iso fix isn’t in the right spot and it still moves the seat around regardless of how tight it is..

Just bought the Joie Commuter v2 because of this review, and the bassinet is totally different. WTF. You have to zip it in and out, not the easy clip-on sides like you described and showed in this video. What a waste of time and money.
@joieaustralia61702 жыл бұрын
Hi Stephanie, Thanks for your note. The Australian version of the Commuter Portacot has been upgraded and now includes a zip-in bassinet insert. This means that you don't need to remove the bassinet to fold the cot which is designed to be more convenient. We hope this clarifies why the cot has changed. Joie Baby Australia

Hi Jono, Thanks for your note. The harness gets a little longer as the headrest is raised. You will be able to get a good fit using a combination of the height and the insert cushions. Why are there twists in our armour fx seat overhead strap where it attaches to the anchor point?
@joieaustralia61703 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, Thanks for your note. Do you mean where the strap overlaps itself (one part of the webbing over the other) at the anchor buckle? Are you unsure how it should connect to the anchor? If you would like to send some images to [email protected] - we would be happy to contact you. Alternatively, you could get the installers at any Baby Bunting store to take a look.
