It is a great podcast but I believe the next challenge would be to detect and characterize the liquid biopsy profile of patients to specific cancer or cancer type especially if cancer is early stage and benign than more aggressive phenotype and shedding its signature in blood. I believe Caris Assure would be a game changer in tracking and treating hematological malignancy and also its response to immunotherapy

What an amazing story. There are so many more potential survivors of cancer with more genetic profiling. I cannot understand why full characterization of a tumor is not part of standard of care. I am so happy for Diane, with whom I identify so strongly. I also have two grandsons, a Brittany, and our family has been touched by ovarian cancer with the more typical outcome. A large tumor was found in my R/Lung a year ago, also a little spot on my adrenal gland. 6 chemo treatments followed by 20 radiations and I have been cancer free for 8 months. I'm in a conversation with a friend who says that a person's emotional state or physiology is not a factor in point or shift mutations. That psychology does not have an impact on mutations at all is that true ? have there ever been any clinical studies on where or why the mutations occur? Diane always have hope. I had an ovarian tumor the size of a football. The cancer never spread outside the tumor, and the tumor wasn’t wrapped around anything. They did a debulking and removed my appendix. I had no chemo or radiation and was home in two weeks. I said this healing prayer over and over. I am praying for a miracle right now. My litter brothers lost my mum 6 years ago, out of nowhere while they were in their early teens and now they’re dad has had a stroke and they’ve found stage 4 cancer spread on his lungs. They both face the prospect of losing their dad as well before turning 25. Praying doesn’t work, treatments doesn’t cure it and right now I am absolutely heartbroken for my little brother. Researching peoples stories I am seeing so many other families going through the same situation and it’s just not fair. Nothing ever prepares us for real life and the nightmares that plague our loved ones. I am honestly hopeless right now
