Ao ver essa elite musical executar magistralmente seus instrumentos, decidi que nada sei, volta às aulas de zabumba.

The balance between the harmonics and the picked strings is not equally amplified. Is there a way to adjust that? I don't think a single notch filter will accomplish this. I've never hear this issue before... Wonderful playing! It reminds me of the great Charlie Byrd who I met in Buffalo at a gig around 1979. You look a bit like him as well. He was a very kind and gentle artist - no ego. I'm thinking of buying a Barbera Transducer for my Takamine Santa Fe nylon string guitar. It has what I consider the absolute best preamp ever - The Takamine CoolTube... yes, a tube inside the guitar. It eats batteries like mad though. I upgraded to his preamp and will never go back to anything lesser. It adds beautiful non-fundamental frequencies to the tone. I can even drive it into distortion, which is not something I do with this guitar. I sometimes record with this guitar and use an amp sim in my DAW and people think I recorded with an electric hollow-body Jazz guitar. I'm thinking that the piezo element could be better, and the Barbera looks like the best engineered I've seen. I have a Godin electric guitar with RMC pickups on each string, as well as two magnetic humbuckers, but while the RMCs are great for an electric, I'm not sure about their application in a nylon string guitar. It would a bit of work to add 6 RMS piezos and a mixer/multiplexer to combine them all. The Barber looks like way less work for me. What preamp do you use in this guitar? Or are you going straight into a DI or into the AER amp? I love my Neve RNDI DI - the very best I've found and doesn't break the bank. I play mostly Bossa Nova and Sambas on this guitar - similar to your recording but not at your level. I play several other instruments, so I'm not 100% focused on being the best guitarist on the planet. But I want to sound my best possible! Any experiences you can share?

John knows a beautiful song when he hears it, and arranges it for the guitar in a manner that it has even more beauty. There's a reason John was one of the first to be awarded a "CGP" by Mister Guitar himself, Chet Atkins.

Beautifully executed John. You have all the right notes .. The bass note harmony are like Billy lpays on the piano that add to the feel of this wonderful composition. Very well done. I too play this with a sand guitar.. fine instruments.

This is why I never play through anyone's sound system but my simple Henricksen amp and Sh-57 mic. There was an incredible amount of buzz and other sounds on this, most of which I'm sure this wonderful guitarist was not responsible for. He would have sounded better with no 'help'. Nice playing, anyway.

Um arraso, grande interpretação. Uma música com muitos movimentos e que o artista tem que ter arte, habilidade, coração e bom gosto. Parabéns Romero.
