It won't crush you. The deck assembly is extremely heavy, but it's lowered by a lowering link, scotch yoke or lowering hook. It's not driven down by the motor. It will however be extremely uncomfortable.

How did you get the pins to glow?
@aydengianes2515Ай бұрын
@@t.c.bowling1934 you will have to sand the pins because there were painted over they should glow as long you don't take the Actual thin layer of coat that they have from the factory I would start with a rough sand paper and gradually go to a higher grit more fine sand paper I would just wet sand it with 2000 3m sandpaper I would highly recommend putting them on a Wood spinners, something you spin then be quicker and way easier they will have a dull suface and not shine alot but it depends

Anybody saying those lanes are horrible? Shut the f*** up. Do you have a bowling alley in your garage? Didn't think so until yours is better. Keep your mouth shut. I would love to have what he's got. I even told my wife I would love to just put the approach up to the arrows and in a cushion wall just. To practice my approach.

This is proof of this is what these machines are capable of if you play stupid games you'll win stupid prizes I'm pretty sure any AMF unit is capable of ripping someone in half if the frick around
@scottk197714 күн бұрын
Good assessment. AMF 82- series pinspotters are driven up and down by the motor.... don't want to be above or below. Of course you don't want to be above a Brunswick deck either cause you're getting pulled up into the turret. It will black out, but it's still not going to be a good outcome.

for the resistance turning, you can check the tensioner for the turret long belt, make sure its not too tight or loose. the turret bearings might need to be re packed with grease. that finger thing is on all of my lanes, the issue your running into is the wires in the back are to far forward and need to be bent back a bit so they dont touch the pin until after its already falling on its own. i think the book says the wires need a 1/8" gap on all sides. thats what i noticed with the failed feed in the vid. if it were my machine id take the turret off complely and clean it all, then take the timing plate(cant remember the actual name) and take it apart CAREFULLY DOCUMENTING HOW IT CAME APART, and deep clean it. especially the bottom groove where the turret belt rides on the turret cam. that and the belt can be wiped down with a clean cloth or microfiber to get rid of the squeel and give the turret some better grip.like i said before, repacking the bearing might be worth it. also adding a smidge of axel grease to teh contact points when your done cleaning it helps to keep everything from geting rusted together with time. timing gear RARELY goes bad or gets super worn but thats something to check while your in there, wouldnt cause the issue your having but taking th eturret off and not checking is like changing the oil in your car and not looking for leaks. the latch goes bad occasionally to. sorry for the info dump. if it helps im a2 certified through the classic task force school. love and hate these machines
@popanda365210 ай бұрын
Oh and they make a drip pan for the gear box that attaches to one of the struts. it catches oil and directs it into a little class baby food jar so you can see if its getting worse . dont know who makes them but i made on out of an old 5 gallon fry oil container for one of my lanes where it was missing
