I'm a half-breed, born and raised in Southern California. Born with the surname "Andrukitus", alternatively spelled "Andrukaitis". A family name that takes up a few pages in the Scranton, Pennsylvania phone book. We used to say we were poor Polish people with no shoes, because before the Berlin Wall fell, no one knew what being Lithuanian meant . Every so often, I run into some person, or thing, that reminds me of my heritage. I've always loved Vyto Ruginis in everything I've seen him do - even before I knew he was Lithuanian. He defines the term, "character actor," and simply dissolves into every role. He brings gravitas to every production at the first sight of him. I'm proud to know the truth.

Murdered Jewish women and children in ways that even made German occupants puke? what does it matter in this Rose. The Germans wanted to destroy many nations and make them slaves, but they were left in the past, and the girl who was a trick from Lithuania was already to blame for something. I am from Lithuania and my family saved the Jews, and the old woman lived for 2 years in my house and died buried at night. and there are thousands of such people who, under pain of death, did everything possible for the Jews. So it was and will not be sad for our people and do not steal in one color.

@@angelicastefanovc9476 Yes. There were and are plenty of good people among Lithuanians. But in general your country WELCOMED nazis and helped them hunting down and murdering Jews. And these days your country is outright national socialistic as well. That is a fact. Not that I care. No offense, but the baltic nations are literally dying out. And it's the United States that Rose's parents chose to be their homeland. Not Lithuania. She can parade with Lithuanian flag all she wants, unbeknownst of all the fascism those colors represent. But 30-40 years from now there will be no such nation as Lithuania, estonia or Latvia.

I was born after the war and someone has nothing to do with this, I have Jewish blood, but I love and am proud of my country, and I think you are a nationalist, because you don’t like the weight of the Lithuanian people , think better about your position. You discuss and condemn, in your speeches you feel intolerance and hostility, and maybe even more hatred, and this is fascism on your part.
