Thank you. I was wondering how the hinge on the battery compartment on my NF810 came apart. This helped a lot. My damage is less but I want to sort it before it becomes worse. For future, neutralise the battery leaked chemicals by bathing the battery terminals in vinegar for 5 minutes, then rinse in alcohol, then rinse in pure water. Your method will get rid of the corrosion but leaves behind the chemicals which will continue to corrode the metals even now.

No mostraste cómo te quedó al final la espada de cuerpo completo; sólo parcialmente y a oscuras (sin luz) En eso te doy un punto negativo: en la edición del video. En lo demás muy buena restauración. Saludos desde México.

I'm amazed that fired up with no cap replacement though the Master System is a very bullet proof Console. Get the Novus, plastic restoration kit. I just did my Master System with it and it looks brand new. The Kit will buff out a lot of scratches and get the film off of the plastic that soap and water can't. Solid stuff regardless.

What is the output voltage after the diode bridge? According to the datasheet, 2132 should receive 3 volts. The vernier also fell apart and it was not possible to restore it?

It is difficult to repair the pump and thermal resistance, it is better to replace it with a working one. good luck.

Mine is a KD664RE 500 W (from around 1990 ?). Looks like yours and I think it's almost identical. Thanks for the video. I'll see if I can get mine to life again. :) I usually soak machine parts (metal) in petroleum overnight it loosens and takes a lot of gunk out. A little paint thinner takes the rest away.

Many of the listings on eBay have dead recording laser pickups. There is no way to repair this other than replacement. In particular, late Net-MD models that supported high-speed recording rarely had the recording function working. If the seller does not explicitly declare that the recording function has been tested, it should be considered a failure of the recording function.

Hi man. I can't found too much fixing videos for Master System, only yours and another one . One question, maybe you know how to fix this error? : Mine works good , but after 20 to 30 minutes of gameplay, the sound starts to fail, and get even more and more low pitched, until it start to sound like Crunchy. Any idea what is going on, and how to fix that?

very good video! I have some suggestions: first - wash the motherboard with water and detergent without fear, then let it dry well in the sun or in an oven. Second- adjust the RF coil with the video game turned on, stirring with something that does not conduct electricity (plastic or wooden stick). Third - you need to protect the metal plates against corrosion either by electrolysis with zinc (you can find this inside 9v batteries or 1.5v batteries) or by using a rust converter that transforms the surface into a base for painting! Fourth - remove and measure Image capacitors which, in the case of the Master System Power Base, often cause problems with image and sound noise!
