You did the right thing and handled it very wisely. I was a nurse for over 40 years and ran into people like her all the time. I am so glad to be retired now and not have to deal with this evil.

Know this video is a bit older, but I have a question regarding the slowed digestion. Where it slows down digestion, what would happen to someone who already deals with slow digestion? Can they still take the medication?

Hi. Very informative video, love it. Going for my consultation tomorrow. My diet is fair. My husband and I have been sharing meals for a while now. We no longer force ourselves to finish meals just to finish it, we go with if we are full or satisfied we stop. I snack too much. Will eating the right foods and light exercise help propel the weight loss sooner? You mentioned your week one weight loss.

Yes, that is normal. Try to increase your water and fiber intake. You can also add more activity like walking to your routine. And a good pre and probiotic will also help you remain on track! Hope this helps.

You seem like such a sincere and wholesome person. I’m about to go on this med and I hope to have a positive experience. I eat healthy, count my calories and journal my food, but after about 10 days, food noise does me in, and then I forfeit all my losses. I hope this can help me break this cycle as it’s out of control now.

I was doing the B12 shots weekly with my Semaglutide. It is an IM shot. However some pharmacies offer it in the Subcutaneous form. I switched to Lipotropic shots. They have B12 in them. They are a game changer!

I have approximately 177 lbs to lose. I will be taking my first dose of semaglutide tomorrow. My provider said she thinks I should only be on the meds for 3 months. From what I’ve read it is ok to take the medication for a longer period of time. I feel like at 3 months I’m really just “getting started” with the meds working. With so much weight to lose I was hoping to use it for the duration of my weight loss. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

@@lyfewithlanae719 I reported the incident, but because we are so short staffed they only gave her a warning. I found out from another staff member that they reported her about 2 weeks ago for bullying them and another coworker. Yesterday I worked with the bully nurse and overheard her complaining to another nurse about getting called into managements office. So I figure it was about the incident that was reported. She's still hasn't been fired for her behavior though. I've already decided I'm leaving in a few weeks after I finish my new grad nurse residency. I've experienced to much bullying on this job to stay any longer.

I love your tranparancy on the first week😂 I'll be starting my journey soon when i finally have the courage to do my first injection. I already eat fairly healthy and small portions, work out 4x a week and drink a lot of water. (I also cut out alcohol almost entirely), but the scale just doesnt budge, and i know its because my BMR is so low that eating at a 500 calorie deficit puts me at around 1300 calories which is difficult and potentially unhealthy. My doctor didnt want me going that low because he said it wasnt maintainable. So I can only cut my calories by 300 per day so I'm eating 1500 but that is really hard to do consistantly especially when working out since it increases my appetite. But more often than not I eat at maintence with a few days a week at my deficit which is probably why the scale wont budge. Thank you for your detailed video, it helps me gather all the info i can before starting offically. Also, thank you for your service.
@lyfewithlanae7195 ай бұрын
I would agree with your Dr. If you go too low, your body thing you are starving and holds on to fat. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey. Try not to overthink the shot... they aren't painful. You'll get used to them quick! Lol

Thank you for this…another question… did you have weeks on your highest dose where you didn’t lose or even went up? Im on 5 months and I went up two pounds this week and am freaking out that it isn’t gonna work for me anymore like other diets. I do know my body gets used to things quicker so I’m scared the 18lbs is all I will lose 😢
