Anyone know the movie with the dad at the table talking about an entry wound?

Throughout the many ages of humanity’s existence, one constant has remained: war. Across the sands of time, conflict has scarred every corner of the Earth. The reasons vary-ambition, vengeance, survival-but the root remains the same: the promise of power. Whether it be wealth, weaponry, land, or legacy, wars are waged to claim an upper hand, to seize control over chaos. Yet, beneath the banners and battle cries lie darker truths, hidden in the hearts of all who fight. Pride, greed, fear-these are the shadows that guide the hand of war, staining it with the essence of human frailty. But war is not merely a stage for these flaws. It is a transaction, one that demands a price from all who participate, willingly or not. The cost of war is steep, and there are four prices that every soul must pay. The first is strength-the physical toll of battle, leaving scars both seen and unseen. The second is willpower-the erosion of resolve as hope falters and fear consumes. The third is sacrifice-the loss of what you hold dear, offered to the fire of conflict. And the fourth-the most profound and cruel of all-is the life you had before. For no one who enters the crucible of war emerges unchanged. These prices are immutable, etched into the fabric of existence. Like death itself, who watches upon his pale horse, war comes for all, leaving nothing untouched. The question is not whether one will pay… *but how much they will lose before the end.* -The opening of a book I’m writing.

The first war [as well as almost all of them until now] was declared by [ ✡] for people to kill each other under the guise of patriotism or politics, and the Second War was the only one declared against these people... I wonder how much longer will people need to get this. ⚡⚡

There doesn't go by a single day that i wished i was born in 1640 just to save some poor kids life as a german soldier, we sometimes forget that the germans didnt wanted to go to war either. So i would had loved to go instead of some 17-20 year old boy having to die and never see his mother, father and siblings again. Don't think all germans were bad, ofcourse there were some bad people like the SS but infantry wasn't bad. Those were sent because if they refused they would be executed.

I fail to understand whenever ww2 films areade we only see the allied point of view like the media wants to portray them as unsung heroes but the fact is that theaxis were also heroes in their own stories. Italy was ravaged by war and instability, japan was simply an isolationaist nation turned into an imperialist state due to european influence and germany suffered the most crippled by war industry halted millions dead houses bombed politically instable and then a man comes along and actually changes something to better the lives of his people.

What is the purpose of a man. Is it to follow orders of the man above him? To die for him. To give your life for them so that they can sit in the lousey glory that they possess a piece of land that can't be differentiated from a mile away. Is it our purpose to live as a predictable entities to the upper man so that they can fill their pockets and to live their life? I don't know what to do with my life but I sure do know that I want to do something that uplifts coming generation to believe above their shoulders and to dream above their heads.

what a downer of a movie though. it may be good film making but a shit of a downer of a story. the guy seems like a douchebag . so he lost his brother so what? people lose people all the time. get OVER it. he pushes away people who cares about him like that girl who was crying out to him and he just pushes her away. women if you have a guy like this in your life he is an asshole and you should let him wallow in his misery. my grandmother is kind of that way. shes always negitive and is so emotionally draining and if shed just get out of her slump and reach out to others more shed be amazed at the remaining life she can have. people like this just btings everyone down around them. loss is tough but you cant let it rule your life.

1600 men? They killed 10s of millions of men with their resource wars. There is no honor in warmongering and let’s not pretend they care about the individual men.
