so many thanks to everyone who worked on or was interviewed in this! as a queer indian south african teen from dbn, seeing other people like me share their experiences means more than i can even say. as said, there definitely aren’t enough narratives of people like us, but this one has helped to right that balance, which is really hopeful and reassuring. when your family and community (as mine both do) resent you, it’s hard to feel peace about yourself and your place in the world. but stories like this, which affirm my existence as someone between many margins of society, go a long way to help combat all of those bad feelings. really grateful that this exists, and i think i’ll be coming back to it for a long time:)

Here in China, I still reminisce about the wonderful times I had under the guidance of exceptional lecturers at the English Department of the University of Pretoria. Even under the strange-eyed constellations that grace the night sky here, my mind often wanders back to those days, bringing back cherished memories. The invaluable education I received when meritocracy was still held in high regard has proven to be immensely valuable in shaping my experiences abroad. I am truly grateful for the solid foundation it has provided me with.

I was on this course last year and I had an issue with my headphones so I had to drop out. Thanks for all the support, and best wishes for teaching my friend, Tues Rato.

Greeting all the way from the University of Dundee in Scotland. Prof Vicky Graham was the best supervisor ever. I have no doubt Tuks Political Science department is in good hands!

Thank you for this! We need more narratives, and I'm so glad that this is Durban specific to speak to issues that are relatable for all LGBTQI+ folk living there. Well done on an interesting documentary. I watched from beginning to end and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Hi! You don't need Maths at all. The only subject requirement is a level 5 in English. Please visit the Fine Arts yearbook for more information about the admission requirements: www.up.ac.za/yearbooks/2019/HUM-faculty/UD-programmes/view/01130103.

Hi. Thank you for this information. I have a question: how commendable is it to pursue this course as a part-time student or online student? Thanks.
