You can use flexible inner covers, like reflectix, clearn vinyl, feed sacks, canvas. Much easier to use than slats. I like the clear vinyl, you just peal it back.

How this incubator working for you? Ppl keep saying bad sht about this product. Mostly just stupid ppl complaining. Which is sad. Not very helpful for folks looking for a decent incubator to hatch some eggs.

This junk is unstable, imprecise and the hatch rate is ridiculously low.

Not sure what slicer you use but; If you use prusa slicer you can actually program in to tell the printer to pause and wait for you to change the color! pretty cool in my opinion

What I use to avoid the baby chics falling down the gaps that use a slip resistance rubber type of mat I cut it to the actual size has small holes so air can still circulate also you don’t have to use the automatic egg turner you can take that off and place more eggs the only thing is you have to turn the eggs manually I do it by simply slightly putting my hand over the eggs and slide them to the side I know people criticize because im opening the incubator well it only takes few seconds and it’s worked for me

Aren’t you suppose to take out the egg turners and set them in the bottom platform

You are the only video I could find for doing anything similar to this. I'm planning on running some type of conduit to protect cat6 wire. 200ft to my new pole barn. 3/4" PEX is a whole lot cheaper and I would think more watertight than 20 sections of 3/4" conduit. Of course it's not rated for any type of electrical wire. But I'm pretty sure anything communications related is unregulated.

Lockdown at day 14. Remove egg turner and leave eggs on the bottom of tray. Use a sheet of non slip drawer liner so they can walk around in there because floor is slick
