As you are asking some questions, as you haven't tried that sim yourself. 1.) The LGS serves as a status and warning panel in that game. So some sort of DWP with additional status (blue = system active, green system - inactive, amber - damaged, red failed) 2.) The TD boxes indeed display the (up to 6) priority radar tracks. They are always squares, though with the X highlighting friendlies. The primary target has a solid outline, the other tracks have a doted one. The carret on the TD box actually displays the tracks relative heading (aspect angle), while the other line indicates true heading (not exactly the same meaning as on the real aircraft. The plus symbol on a box shows missile in flight. 2.) Format assorting is quite accurate and includes also the engine, fuel, stores format and some others. In close up views the displays are actually more detailed, a limitation of graphic resolutions of that time. 3.) The large X on the HUD is indeed the substitute for the pull-up arrow from GPWS and you get the box (pre-warning symbol) displayed as well in that video. 4.) As you judged from eyeballing EF2000 was pretty cool for its time and it's IMO still one of the best sims around. With EF2000 v2.0+Reloaded you get resolution upscaling, Track IR support etc. Even online gaming with up to 8 players should be possible. The DID designers had support from BAe, RAF, Gec Marconi and other organisations and institutes. The DID studios were even visited by Keith Hartly at that time. The FCS implementation with the model is quite interesting and in a couple of ways spot on.

Hi there 👋 I've watched a lot of your videos and I find them fascinating and very helpful. The reason I am posting this note, apart from to applaud you for the excellent videos, is because there has always been an unknown question lurking around in my mind. I've never been able to put my finger on it until just now. How is it possible for a channel like this to have <2K subscribers? I know, I know, algorithmic god and all that, but I am simply astounded that with the player base DCS has, standalone and Steam, there are not more people that would love this content. Even those that play DCS that are not going to be making their own missions, I find it hard to imagine they would not be fascinated to see how missions, and the ultimate use of missions, campaigns, are, or can be, put together. I often have this complaint when watching other channels, connected to DCS or not. There is some excellent content out there that seemingly, for 'reasons', just do not have huge subscriber numbers. While I appreciate DCS related content and content about 'putting make up on a doll' are not the same but for one to have <10K subscribers while the other enjoys >5 million 🤯, I cannot fathom it. While a single old man, ranting about this will not change a thing, I guess I wanted to try to get across how much your content is appreciated. I have read through some of your comments, and it seems to me you, and the content you provide, are very well thought of. Right, I'm off to kick the dog up the @rse to vent my anger 😠(only kidding...I'm going to tie a firework to his tail😉). Nice. Is there a way to use ground unit (combined arms) for transporting soldiers (to an air base for example)? I´m thinking of APC AAV-7 (Amphibious Assault Vehicle) that SHOULD be able to take troops in it.

I'm trying to add a group of Static Objects that I selected using Shift+Click to select them. But it only adds the last object. But in your video, those are not 'Static' objects. But you can add them.. Signed Confused... LoL

I forgot about this. Really useful with the F-18 since it doesn’t have ground ILS capabilities.

Humm , as the flag 1 is on random event wont happen more than one time (need a trigger to put back flag 1 off, or on Switched Condition)

I wish DCS modernized their ground forces to give us more variety and customization. It would be awesome to be able to do Arma style battles in DCS while being supported by realistic aircraft.

Awesome ty. Hopefully this adds a bit of depth to my ah64 escort mission I'm making. Having issues with the Huey spawning to fly over an load up the escort once it gets to destination while I deal with bmps and technicals. Hopefully this helps.
