All the lake scenes were filmed on Lake Wylie. The house is not there anymore but the lot is right at the end of my street.

Publix was just to the north, Parks seafood, Danny's Marker 32 to the South on the traffic circle. I can't count how many times I used that traffic circle for my personal slalom. I met him many times with my grandfather that was a friend of his and long time customer. I wish I had known then what a treasure he was. I was just a dumb kid that had no idea..

That's great you get to spend time with your family and actually really really enjoy an event I'm a family man myself who back in the day got to spend a little time at the track with the kids but like you say nothing like when you can sit back and enjoy it with just your family and friends and not have to worry about other things❤ Merry Christmas from great Uncle Mike and family😊
