Very limited a bats not a true indication of his true talent. He has hit fell when given enough at bats so he can get his timing down and is elite defensively with speed and some power to hit 15-20 homers and could steal 20-40 sb.

I think his take is totally off. I think Stro could have a better season this season if we improve the defense. Furthermore, I understand we need a 3rd baseman, but it's not urgent. Chisholm was decent at 3rd. I'm for giving Peraza a shot at 2nd. We don't need high-priced position players

I believe getting Hays, like Michael Kay said is a good idea, it takes time but I would at least talk to the Pirates. I am just not sure how he measures up to Peraza playing third base or DJ.

NYY should have signed Pete Alonso, historic slugger batting back to back with Judge? Would have electrified MLB. Mets got Soto who will be on Medicare at the end of his contract. Cadhman signed 2 guys, Fried/Goldschmidt, 6 years too late. NYY will not win WS until they cut ties with Cashman.

If the Yankees get cold feet on this deal, then install Cabrera NOW as your starting 2nd. baseman Cashman, instead of sitting on your thumbs. If you're going to do the Hoerner trade, then do a 4 for 3, send Peraza and Periera, and Will Warren along with Stroman and the Cubs throw in a AA pitching prospect and a Cubs UT either in AAA who has also had some major league playing time, just DO IT.

@@albertrodriguez4068 Yeah, one of their A or AA pitching prospects, but Cashman always drops the ball on these trade opportunities. He should just make a decision to install Cabrera at third, move Chisholm to 2nd., and Peraza backs up both positions. The Yankees have 2 gems that should be up hopefully in 2027, Arias and Lombard, so run with it Cashman.
