Unless the sun is NOT 93 million miles away as we've been told. The problem is, you refuse to believe your own eyes. Notice that the light from the sun is CLEARLY illuminating these clouds from BENEATH, not ABOVE. You can even see the sun BELOVE the clouds. Still don't believe me? Get some cotton candy (are anything else that resembles clouds) and a light source like a lamp. Then place the cotton candy close ABOVE the lamp and observe how the cotton candy looks when the light shines right beneath it. Next raise the lamp as high above the cotton candy as possible and aim the light down on it. Then come back and look at the clouds in THIS video and ask yourself if they resemble the cotton candy with a CLOSE light source BENEATH it or a FAR AWAY light source ABOVE it. No insults. No cheap shots. Just try that simple experiment and be HONEST about what your OWN eyes see. And please don't hand me any of that "it's an optical illusion" crap. Just try the experiment.

Yes, it definitely can appear to rise from below the clouds on the Globe if you are at 28000 feet. No problem at all. If the Sun was local it would never even set nor would it retain its angular size throughout the whole day. Learn geometry.
