How do folk have the time to trot off to protests every weekend for causes they've never researched. 3. This is nothing new. Stalin's USSR and Hitler's Germany were allies till the Germans were beaten in the Battle of Britain and Hitler decided to attack his ally. The Russians were caught completely unprepared because they believed in the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, signed on the night of 23-24 August 1939; where the two countries agreed that they would not attack each other and secretly divided the countries that lay between them

True. However Hitler was always intent on lebensraum. The expansion east, whether it included Soviet lands is debatable but I'm sure it did based on the fact that he thought of them as untermensch.

@@Robert-fq5wx The Nazi expansion eastward was for resources - oil and metals. When the Germans lost the Battle of Britain, their hope for a quick war was smashed. They needed oil and decided to take it from the Russians. Their big mistake was also trying to conquer Moscow believing that the Russians would capitulate with the loss of their capital. The Nazis saw the Russians as untermenschen but this was not the reason for their attacking Russia.

They were not allies, and soviets knew nazigermany would attack. Soviets warned before 1938, Stalin wrote in letters before 1939 that nazigermany would attack. Update yourself, its 2025, not 1965.

Great conversation! I believe humans love to be frightened/have anxiety about things no one can control. No one's controlling your children's sexuality, not even your children. We are all so afraid of God (reality) so no judgment; it is what it is. But trust solves all of our problems.
