This song is so great because its progression is actually like you're a criminal on the run. The first part is the crime, the get away, and the chase. The breakdown is the hole-up while you're surrounded by authorities. The follow-up is the retribution and return fire... and the end is the guns blazing final stand, leaving nothing on the table! All incredibly sick, and fits the game character really well.

Not a fan of Gacha games which is what Nikke is obviously and everything Gacha stands for BUT gotta say the ONLY praise I give that game is yes ALOT of its music are absolute f#$&ing bangers I've literally been binging and listening to Nikke music on repeat for the past couple days now. For me personally the 2 tracks that stand out on Morning Star (the Nikke related OST this song is even on) is this one and Burn it All (Nihilister/dragon robot mommy's theme song) Both these tracks is what I want every video game soundtrack to feature especially if its a boss fight (accompanied with a heavy,intense story to boot) Nikke's music is THAT good like holy shit. So for me its a actual CRIME Shift Up never released any of Nikke's soundtracks physically and are only available digitally cuz I woould 1000 percent buy some of them in a heartbeat but alas not possible sadge
