I've had my stapler for probably more than 30 years and had NO IDEA about this. Wow.
@Mike-io8ml6 ай бұрын
Yup, just debunked this shit in my office in a matter of seconds. It’s easy to pull the staple no matter what. And I did a stack of 8 papers and a stack of 27 papers. Used my fingers then used a staple remover and it was easy both ways.

You should’ve placed emphasis on keeping the paper neat whereas you put creases in it as you were pulling it out. You can pull it out to where you won’t damage by creasing vs. damage from staple removing.
@thecatatemyhomework9 ай бұрын
My first thought was, then it makes the paper sloppy with creases
@brendalg4Ай бұрын
My first thought was... Then you have creases. Just don't bend the paper. Anyway others are posting that the outward position is not meant for what he says. It is to allow you to staple more pages together

I appreciate learning the reason for "pinning", but I think it's cringe that you called it a "hack" or "hidden feature". Stop that shit, people. I discovered this feature as a kid/teen, because we should be observant of our surroundings.

Why are people complaining about the instructions being slow and for this guy to get to the point? I found this very helpful, making sure you're guiding your viewers to the right place is very important, and on KZbin speed of instruction should no longer be an issue for anyone anyway. You can all simply change the "Playback speed" after clicking the gear icon, then turn on Closed Captions, if you find the instructions too slow for you to comprehend.

Thank you Ed. I have been overseeing our class reunions, and we are coming up on the 50th (OMG🤯) Someone in the committee has mentioned that a friend had created a special page just for their specific class. Your video and commentary is a great starting point. I am concerned that suddenly, and as a direct result, I will become the "administrator" and will have to monitor daily. Rules are important, as in "No political commentary" or "talking smack," for lack of a better term. I'd like the page to be uplifting and that can continue beyond my time. Any suggestions are more than welcome, bit thanks for getting me started!. Cheers 😎

Wow! Although I can't imagine the thought process that went into deciding that it was necessary to have staples go both inward and outward and what the purposes would be for the different configurations.

@raviedavieu2 жыл бұрын
I heard you can't do that, so personally my plan is just to move all the files from my previous user account to my new one, like the above video shows. Then, I'll delete the old account after moving everything out from it. I'll let you know if it works.
