Im wanting a new small high dollar bait caster. There are a bunch of nice ones, . These look pretty nice but i cannot, will not buy anything made in china. Ill prob go with a accurate Boss Valiant BV300c made in Los Angeles, or a seigler 300 made in Virginia. Ill buy top of the line JDM reels and rods and baits. As long as theyre made in japan. The saltigas and stellas are. Rods i mostly stay with st croix or all star, lamiglas or loomis. Only american made. Just my preference
@jimbojones31248 ай бұрын
I just ditched a whole quiver of edge rods .. snapped 2 in 4 sessions .. out of nowhere ! Very very upsetting .. only sticking with Australian companies now.. as for the high end maxels they are only assembled in China most materials are from Germany America and Japan.. if you havnt used one don't listen to the bullshit story's that are online ive got 3 and not once have a had a single issue with any of them

Nice video. What jig was it? Personally, I bleed all fish as I believe it makes a good difference to taste and the look of the flesh. Just slice around the curved part of the gills but dont need to cut the neck.

Hey there thanks for your question and feedback. I use Zest Gan Jigs, they come in 4 sizes 28g 35g 60g and 80g a few colours I tend to do very well with the 35g in silver but the orange works also works a treat as well. I was out last Sunday and I decided to slow troll one between drifts and yup caught one doing that as well!

@twitchtwitchstrikefishing7147 Жыл бұрын
@@rewaiwilliams2939 they are fantastic little jigs. I have started tying my own assist hooks for these, once they have a few days of fishing on them the factory supplied hooks are passed there best. I am using Gamakatsu 510 open eye hooks, I reuse the solid ring and use light Kevlar cord. The hooks have barb on the outside which works super well and makes it easy to crush the barb if you want to.

Good purchase. The sharkskin pants are great. That’s some quality product. I was told to purchase another brand of top, as the sharkskin top is too warm over the summer months. Be good to hear some more information in the coming months. Who did you buy the items from?
@twitchtwitchstrikefishing7147 Жыл бұрын
Hey mate, yes the pants are great socks also great. The top has plenty of core warmth but the arms are a bit light for winter. I was out today and it was perfect. It will be interesting to see how it goes in summer heat. I understand most of new fabrics are designed to wick moisture away from the skin..... time will tell.

Enjoyable vid, nice. As Johnny F said and you've noted, a change of camera angle would improve things. How about considering having the camera on the same side as you predominantly fish from? Most of the action was on the left and we end up watching your shoulder and back most of the time. Look forward to the next installment.
