Brilliant video, wish there was a bit on gratitude and it's importance for everyone. It tends to not be emphasised in the modern anglosphere compared to other cultures.

I enlisted in the RAF in 1982, which is the year that Liz was born ( god I'm old). I eventually got to be an Air Steward on 10 Sqn VC10s. ( XR808 on display at Cosford was one of the aircraft I flew on). One of my Air Steward bosses was the late Sqn Ldr Brian Joplin QGM. Brian gained the Queens Gallantry Medal for his work on Atlantic Conveyor helping the other survivors into the life rafts and remaining in the water ( in his survival suit) as there wasn't enough room for everyone. They were rescued later by the other ships in the area. I first met Brian in the 1980s as a MACR loadmaster and he eventually was commissioned.

Bravo November has a fantastic history, no doubt about it. I was 11 when the Falklands conflict occurred, and I recall seeing footage of BN on the BBC and ITV news articles. To think it went on for another 36 years of service post Falklands is amazing. Visited Cosford again in Dec 2022 and made a point of going to see BN, it's earned it's place in the museum.

Liz tells an amazing tale with humility and patriotism. When I hear her speak of her MERT work as carrying precious freight and her saying what an honor it was, I am so happy to have been able to find and read her story. Everyone should read it regardless of their own opinion of whether the blood and treasure spent on that endeavor was worth it or not.❤

100PS sind ganz nett. Limbach Turbo ist dagegen eine andere Nummer. Habe über 1000Starts auf dem Grob. Bester Motorsegler den es gibt. Die Zuladung beim Rotax dürfte aber auch nicht so dolle sein.
