The asian actor acted so weak, when the racist said "you get out of here", you kept saying "I'm sorry". Don't rely on bystanders' sympathy, you have to show your gut pointing to the guy that he is a racist! You showed to the whole world Asians are weak. It's a failure!

I am an Asian. Am I the only one who feels embarrassed watching this? By focusing on what the white people think about you or whether you are being discriminated, to me it is implicitly admitting oneself is more inferior than the other one. Quit doing such experiments and focus on what makes a civilisation succeed. Don’t spend too much time and energy focusing on how other people think about or how they treat you. Learn the goods from each other. There are reasons why western civilisations are more successful. Asking for acceptance is not one of them.😅 Stand up for yourself when you face injustice and not beg for mercy unless you truly feel you are inferior. But I understand the culture of Asian people. The cultures like to put people down and put shame on people. You are not allowed to say no when being oppressed and only dare to fight someone who you see as inferior. 😂 The genuine nice and creative people are being oppressed in our society everyday because of the selfishness of humanity. The norm and culture really put us into the pitfalls of feeling inferior. Of coz the whites have the right and reasons to feel they are better due to many kinds of intellectual originality. But it doesn’t imply you are necessarily more inferior. It is really the culture that is making certain groups of people unable to advance through innovations and to be in harmony like the west.

@@OGtruthserum This video seems to highlight the meaning that everyone deserves respect as an individual, not who is outstanding and inferior, or good or bad.
@OGtruthserum
@OGtruthserum 27 күн бұрын
@@saesong4627 Yes, on the surface level, that may appear to be the case. However, the video actually perpetuates a culture of timidity based on the unfortunate stereotype of East Asians. When East Asians are portrayed as the sole representation of "Asian" by those who are not of Asian descent, it perpetuates a problematic narrative that needs to be challenged. This issue is not only relevant to East Asians but is significant for empowering all individuals of Asian descent. Vietnamese people, for example, are often overlooked and misrepresented in mainstream media. We have distinct appearances and experiences that differ from the common narrative, particularly outside of contexts related to the Vietnam War. If Vietnamese individuals were portrayed more accurately and prominently, it could foster greater understanding and respect for all Asian communities. Unfortunately, without such representation, East Asians may continue to face discrimination, harassment, and bullying. Therefore, it is imperative that portrayals in media and popular culture evolve to reflect the diversity and complexity of Asian identities. By doing so, we can work towards a more inclusive and equitable society for all individuals of Asian descent.

The targets of racist violence are mainly directed at East Asians. Yes, Vietnamese people are great, but I hope there isn't a double standard like some other countries where they remain silent about violence and exaggerate when they are victims.

They discriminated I am not good at English, don't graduate from a prestige university and can't get skilled worker visa in the UK. Remember, only Chinese will do that. Chinese girls who have gotten UK green card are more likely to do that. They only discriminate other Chinese people who are just studying aboard.

I live in Europe. And when I was in elementary school, students would mock me and do weird faces at me for example moving their eyes upright, even though I don't have upright eyes. And when the pandemic hit, they literally asked me so many questions about the corona virus, because they thought I knew something about it that they don't. And I was really annoyed by my classmates on that day. Plus no one even defended me, they all kind of just waited for me to answer. Elementary school here only goes to the fourth grade. After that I went to a middle school in the city, because I faced more racism in the village than in the city. And in my middle school there were asians, europeans, africans and americans. We were like a community. Well, almost. Now I'm in 8th grade and another classmate of mine, who is also asian, is sometimes getting all the fault, that an idiot classmate of mine actually did. But thank god he has good friends. But as we can see racism against asians also exists. There is actually no place in this world that doesn't have racism in general.
