Nice dog

Sadly, I believe that the decline of the Gordon is directly proportional to the decline of rough shooting. these dogs make exceptional bird hunters. That was their raison d'etre. Most any dog will make a decent companion in the home with competent owners, so the Gordon is no exception in this regard. The Gordon has tremendous ole-factory attributes (nose) and excel in this application for finding and pointing game birds. Hopefully, both the sport and breed make a resurgence.
