I like the base. O have heard the first tenor and base in Los Angeles and in Idaho. Praise to the first tenor. Give credit to him. Maybe he can't leave the quartet to keep on going. Hold on first tenor. I notice this too. It's not easy to be going from one state to another . We have to be concederate..to him the first tenor. I grew up listening to the beautiful voices and perfect harmonies of this legendary quartet, unfortunately never heard them so off as this new version. 😢

Not the same Heralds I remember

Great quartet. When I was in a late teens I formed a quartet names The King’s Voices, We know all there song. There is no need to change SCragg. He should sing until he cannot sing. That is what being a part of the group if all about. Other’s only changed because they wanted to change.

Some kind of intervention is needed to bring the quartet back to the golden era of the Four Js. I believe it can be done.

I think it's time for a New first tenor, I know he's the longest member in time but he should realize that his voice is not the same, he's not on note most of the time and doesn't hit those high notes anymore sounding flat, the 2nd tenor has a nice smooth sound, this is not criticism just an opinion. I have every album of theirs since 1960 and remember how perfection was very noticeable in the sound. Praise God for the Kings Heralds and I'm glad they're still praising God in their music.
