I was expecting a life threatening situation here. I’ve shredded a lot of snow that is actually deep and it is very hard to get out of even as a young(ish) guy but I’m talking like waist to chest deep or so. Calling this deep powder is laughable.

@@johnwicked4982 I agree the most important thing is his enjoyment of the sport but objectively speaking this isn’t deep powder. And I grew up on the ice coast in New England

Its always a good idea to go hiking alone in the Mojave without water, alone, no cell phone, and by all means go off trail. Epically when its 115 degrees out.

One more question, hope you remember😅… Did you drill straight through the 2 stock PCV valves on top the engine where they connect each other onto a T, or did you left them stock? I’m asking because I saw Tracy Lewis drill through them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2KpfqF9hpaLe7M Skip to min 2:40 I bought the Elite Engineering🙌

How or what did you use to splice the hard line that comes from the back of the engine to the 3/8s ID fuel line?
@kirkthedetailer2 жыл бұрын
I really can't remember its been so long but you can go to the camaro6 message board and go to the V6 subforum and search it. You will probably find my original post or at least you'll find the answer somewhere on that board. I don't own that car anymore.
@kirkthedetailer2 жыл бұрын
Looking back I think the rubber hose just slides over the hard line and you use a hose clamp. I think you can see in the video where I wrapped it with rubber to keep the stainless hose from sawing thru it.

You hooked it to the clean side not the dirty side no way you go any oil in your can.
@kirkthedetailer3 жыл бұрын
That model catch can has a clean side AND dirty side hoses going to the can. www.eliteengineeringusa.com/e2-catch-can/ The can caught about 1-2 oz per oil change. I no longer own this car.
@noelmiranda5764 жыл бұрын
Did it actually catch oil? Mine doesn’t catch anything after 1500 miles. And did you not add a flow restrictor as the instructions state so?
@kirkthedetailer4 жыл бұрын
Yes it caught a lot of oil. Do you mean the check valve? Yes there's a check valve in there. I don't own this car anymore. I own an SS now. After talking to the engineers of the 6th gen Camaro at a convention, I don't believe that the catch can is necessary. There have been literally zero failures due to DI coking according to the engineer. And it may cause you dealer problems if you have some drive train warranty issue.

Kirk's V6 Camaro they say free spin mide is garbage us this true?
@kirkthedetailer6 жыл бұрын
Free spin mode would be for applying wax or sealant and I don't use this machine for that, nor do I do a lot of applying wax. I use the Cyclo Pro 5 for applying wax. I mostly use SiO2 or ceramic coatings. For paint correction, the gear mode and microfiber pads will knock out swirls quickly.

It normally catches 1 oz per oil change interval, however this time it had about 2 oz. Here's a thread with a picture. www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=521008

have had gliss on my car for one week and like your video shows, it's really no better than just the coating alone. I see hardly any improvement in hydrophobic properties when compared to Cquartz UK, 22PLe or even McKee's 37 v2. They all perform very well and Gliss.....well, it's no Gyeon Skin.
@kirkthedetailer6 жыл бұрын
I think the Gliss is supposed to protect against water spots, which is a common problem with all coatings. Basically, it is a sacrificial layer on top of your coating.
@ms3er3966 жыл бұрын
I know but they tout it's hydrophobic properties. I've seen CarPro quote 110 and 115 degree angles but IMO it's 110 as again, it's the same as their coatings. I've not had any issues with water spots. ECH20 at 1:20 with a few ounces Reload mixed as a detail spray does extremely well.

If you go to the Camaro6 forum there are many threads about the Chevrolet dealer fix. It requires taking out the windshield and retrieving a mis installed foam block from the ducting.
@mjo32756 жыл бұрын
Its some sort of defect, idk why but not matter what button you press for the AC to come out of there is always air coming from the windshield defroster. Its Fucking bull shit that a brand new 50K car has this kind of issue cause in Florida where i live its always humid and it doesn't matter what temperature the AC is at it always does it.

Hi, can you tell me about the backing plate mount ? I noticed it looks like I will be stuck with only the Makita backing plate due to the center bolt vs. all other backing plates which have the stud built into the backing plates for size interchangeability. Can you interchange with other backing plates ? Thanks

I went up and talked to the service manager about it. I had to show him the bulletins. I knew more about the problem than the service manager so I decided to wait a while and not be the guinea pig.

Chevy has a fix. Call your dealer about the lastest service bulletin on that fix. Bulletin can out in July
@coastalcarolina16 жыл бұрын
Paul Prezioso the fix doesn't work. Had mine completed several weeks ago by my dealer. Everyone else on the Camaro6 has had no change in the air coming out of the top vents after the bulletin fix either. I guess GM will have to go back to the think tank.
