Still with you at day 5! I appreciate the instruction and pacing of these workouts. Challenging enough without feeling you’re going to die. 😂 I had been doing your 10 min kettlebell workout 3 days a week (doing other KZbin workouts other days) for a few months but thought I’d try the challenge.

Woohoo 🎉 who doesn’t love a stretchy session, bliss thank you 😊 I love the somatic stretch, it’s something I do a few times each day to release the neck and back with sitting at a desk all day. One of my fav Kirsty’s is the bow and arrow 🏹🥰

Day 3, I've always just tensed my core while exercising, so I should tense and relax as I breathe in and out?

Great question! When exercising, it’s important to engage your core during the most challenging part of the movement (usually as you breathe out) and allow it to relax slightly as you breathe in. This method helps maintain control and stability while avoiding unnecessary tension. Holding your breath or keeping your core fully tensed throughout can reduce effectiveness and even cause strain, although it does vary from exercise to exercise. Practicing this coordinated breathing and core activation will not only improve your movements but also reduce the risk of over-tensing or fatigue. Keep practicing-it gets easier with time! 😊

That felt great! I like that you are incorporating the warm ups and cool downs. It's getting cold where I live and my workout space can be chilly. Sometimes I get lazy about properly warming up and this reminds me not to do that!

This was my first time working out with you and I really enjoyed it! One request - can you reverse cue so that you cue our right and left instead of yours? It would make it easier for me to follow. Looking forward to doing more of your workouts in the future. 😊

Thank you so much for working out with me-I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 😊 I totally understand how reverse cuing could make it easier to follow, but I’ve found that it’s a bit of a challenge for me personally. Instead, I keep things flexible by saying things like “start on one side, then switch,” so you can choose what works best for you. I hope this approach still makes the workouts easy to follow, and I really appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to having you join more sessions soon! 💪
