@@atubeviewer4942 If you drill a hole or cut it, we aren't seeing any corrosion. If you weld on it you can get some corrosion at the weld...add some spray galv and that will take care of it.

Hi Ann, the divider in your current trailer...the one that has pins on both ends and separates the horses. She was saying all she had to do was remove the pins (on both ends), and then it slipped off the hinge barrel allowing them to lay it down and the horse was able to get back off. There isn't any pressure on the lifting rod pins, even with a horse leg thrown across it. Your divider is built in the same manner. thanks, brad

So her leg was over the divider, our plan was to lower the divider as you don't have to lift the divider to remove it. As we were discussing it she reared again and my friend was able to pop her leg back over. Once she was calm we then removed the divider and took it out of the trailer. I didn't explain it quite right because I was nervous as I've never done a podcast before and I fumbled a bit. Each end of the divider has a steel bar/handle attached to steel pins that go into brackets on the wall. To remove the divider you lift the handle and the pins come out without the divider moving. You can then move the divider away. I bet Double D could record a video of how it works. It is very solid.

Hi Barbara, we install side ramps on either side of the trailer based on customer preference. Our recommendation is always the the ditch side in case you have to offload quickly in traffic on the side of the road.

Hi Katie, they are constructed of carbon fiber and a one piece body without seams. Strength will be considerably higher than conventional builds.

A lot of folks are interested in bumper pull trailers with LQ so they can haul with half tons and smaller vehicles (which is a no go). If you have a dually, certainly for two or more horses a gooseneck is the safest set up. But as long as your tongue weight rating on the trailer doesn't exceed the tongue weight rating of the vehicle, you would be in the safe zone.....Provided the manufacturer of the trailer did NOT move the axles forward in that if you haul a single horse in the rear stall it would not create negative tongue weight. If the axles have been shifted forward in an attempt to reduce tongue weight, adding a horse in the back stall only could result in negative tongue weight and cause sway. Hi Betty, nice to meet you. I've never built a one horse with living quarters, but certainly something we can do. My recommendation would be to go with a 2 horse if you are going with a gooseneck. If you only need to haul one horse, no need in wasting extra money on a gooseneck version more than likely.
