If you ever need a DMC color that's out of stock in at Hobby Lobby, you can do a rain check on it and they will have it within a week depending on when you order it and when your store gets their truck. Just have to ask someone up front to order it :)

This was so cool to watch!! I would love to learn how to surf. Maybe one day, I even live near the coast, but just don't make the effort to get out and just do it!!! Looks incredible, and you both make it look easy. Great vlog, and can't wait to catch up in a couple of weeks. You are so productive with your time. That's awesome 😎❤️

DO IT!!! It’s been so life changing for us, and one of the best parts for me has been seeing how diverse surfers are. It helped me get over feeling silly falling off waves as an older beginner. All ages, skill levels, sizes, and types of boards are out there every day. Yesterday I got caught in a really big set and it was just me and this old guy probably in his 70s hanging on to our boards for dear life and complaining 😂 anyway, thanks for the watch!! Love love comments and connecting with folks 🥰

Wait? You care about the environment? You haven't researched what pollution is caused and resources are wasted by the beef industry? I really like the content of your video, and you are both very cool. But? C'mon! She's so pretty, he's a good looking guy. dang. ☹

Sounds like our protein choice offends you! I would encourage you to direct your frustration to the lobbyists and fast food monopolies that actually do most of the harm, and not us regular folks :) I was vegan for several years but it was very incompatible with my body. I’ve made my peace with what I need to eat to be strong and healthy, so that I can care about the environment in ways that are sustainable for us. Thanks for the watch!

I am just starting out and when I try to tuck my ending thread behind the other threads I have a lot of trouble trying to get my needle under the old threads. Yours seemed like it went in so easily. Am I pulling my thread too tightly?
@EmmalynEtc
@EmmalynEtc 12 күн бұрын
That sounds that might be the issue!! If I am having trouble with using my other stitches to tuck my thread, which sometimes happens if my stitches feel too loose, I’ll sometimes pull my needle through the back of my fabric - just through the back layer of woven fabric threads so you can’t see it from the front.

In the UK, you are taught to start in the middle of a project so it is centered on the aida, linen etc. If it is a small project, I will sometimes start at the edge but always feel guilty if I do.😂

I used to cross-stich a lot in grade-school (ages 4-9 I think I did), and then I just didn't. Don't know why I stopped, but now, at 22 I am getting back into it. Useful video for returning stichters!

hey, i wanted to ask how you manage keeping cats and living in a van? Did they ever run away?
@EmmalynEtc
@EmmalynEtc 3 ай бұрын
No! They see the van as their home, and just like most indoor cats they would rather be safe in their home than running through a parking lot. We regularly stand around with the doors open and unless we're out in nature camping, they are curious but don't try to jump outside. When we do let them outside, always where it's quiet and away from cars or dogs or other things that could stress them out, it's always with airtags on harnesses and leashes so they're never roaming without supervision :) It might be different for cats who were strays or were adopted when they were older, but our fur babies have been with us since 8 weeks old and have no concept of how to survive in the wild. They are pretty easy, we got lucky!

Or you could buy a the ones with a color coded pattern printed on the material 😅 if yhat makes me a peasant im ok with that. If i had to count those tiny squares, i never would have started this hobby. Btw, most of the prepatterned kits have water soluble color. Soak it for a while and the color disappears
