Yes, it will work with the Anel hives. You can approach the hive from the side and grab the hive from the front/back of the hive.

@borisfridlender8286 That will not work for me... My hives are lined up 2 feet apart. I don't see how I would maneuver this machine to pick them up from the front and back...am I missing something?

@@caz4523 I have an easy solution for this situation. When it is time to move the hives or pull the honey you need to turn the hive/super by hands-on 90 degrees and grab this hive from the front/back

@borisfridlender8286 Also, the handles are not set at the same spot on the box...One is set to the right, and the other is set to the left... would the machine be able to grasp this?

I built them, it's very easy.2 pieces 2x4'' and 2 pieces 2x1 1/2 '', glow and long screws. pre-drilling holes for screws should a wood no splits from screws. The same pallets for honey boxes are only a bit smaller and plywood on the top of the pallet.

Dear Lee.I used a regular plastic sheet(film), to prevent bees from building wax barks on top of frames and on the feeder or inner cover.I have no time every time when I open hives to scape off those wax berks. Also, the plastic sheet helps bees to make a microclimate in the nest. What is your opinion on Hive LIfter models B1.B2 and B3?

The device can lift 6 full (150 kg) then you place a bee escape underneath., but very hard to roll 6 boxes on an uneven surface. Practically 2-3 fully supers you can very easy, safety lift and moving to truck or trailer to the loading.

We have used one of Boris's hive lifters for the last 2 summers for putting in bee escapes and for taking off honey. It certainly makes it easier to work with the hives. It is essential to have no cracks or holes in the supers above the bee escape or the bees will find their way back in to remove the honey. We have used tuck tape to block and holes but we have also replaced many of our older supers. The lifter is capable of lifting more than 4 supers full of honey and is well balanced for turning to place the full supers on a pallet. The small battery seems to have lots of juice for more than one day's field work.
