I really like Coach. But it’s starting to crack a little for me. He’s always so positive: “The players are working hard to get better, they haven’t checked out, they’re handling the changes well, this group cares about each other” You’d think we were 9-1 instead of 1-9! There’s little to be positive about and I’m getting a little worn out with him not telling us what’s going on. I understand he doesn’t wanna give anyone ammo against us but stop telling us it’s all good!

@ After weeks and weeks of saying the same positive things, it would be refreshing to hear why he thinks they haven’t been able to make improvements and maybe share a little of what they’re working on improving. Sounds like they’re doing the same things expecting a better result.

If I’m Luke and Brock I’m bouncing if they bring in a transfer , or make them over pay me because you can’t afford to lose both, from an optics standpoint and need. Sort of like Lundy, you failed to bring in better talent and develop them so you have to pay

Seen the Carter kid play live down here in Ft Myers. I can’t say that his skills will absolutely translate to the college level…. That being said… the 3 games I saw he was a beast! Super athletic. Really quick feet. Has a strong arm and really throws well off platform. Reminded me a lot of #13

I'd like to see us hire Kade Bell as OC and if Ryan Walters is fired as Purdue HC I'd take him as DC in a heartbeat. That's two of the best young coordinators in the game and they're relentless recruiters.

Damn near every name Brendan mentioned will have Mike out end of 2026. We need to go get guys from P4 with proven success not up and coming. Top 25 offense at WSU is not the same as top 25 in the B10/SEC.
@MrPanoles17 күн бұрын
@Chris Nee, Mullen would be an excellent OC for us. The guy knows how to scheme, coach and develop. Yes, you will need to have other guys on offense to be ace recruiters, but no HS talent is not going to hear what Dan has to offer.

My hesitation with a “go go” offense is that it might be too gimmicky to the point where it gets completely shut down once someone smart enough figured it out (and it’s only a matter of time in the P2).

I great talent laden defense does not cover for the other 4 years of being mediocre. The defense caught fire late b/c we had guys playing like they had mouths to feed.

They couldnt fire a legacy without firing someone else also. Imho. Not that it matters.
