It might be a cheat, but let's be honest. There are a lot of cards that could counter this nowadays that negates a card effect.

I mean merging roid and speedroid should be as easy as merging the HERO cards. I mean there's Vision, Elemental, Masked, Evil, Destiny, and (technically) Contrast. There are cards that only search one type of HERO but there are cards that search all types of HERO.
