Dude those are high quality suggestions across the board! I had seen Surprise! Time Machine before but never really understood the lines of play. That’s for sure going in! Great trainer and stadium recs! One thing I forgot to mention in these videos is that prizes are always available info to the player that owns them. So Gladion would be redundant.

@SWUCUBE A few suggestions. The main one is that Surprise! Time Machine would be an incredibly fun Item card to add to your cube. You could use it to 1) find the evolution Pokémon you want more consistently, 2) put back an evolution Pokémon you want to save for later, 3) search for the same evolution Pokémon and use its Ability again, 4) remove status conditions, and 5) Knock Out one of your Pokémon (As long as it has damage equal to or exceeding the previous stage's HP or whatever you reevolve it into) to enable Counter Catcher or Counter Energy. Here are the other suggestions: first, you could replace the Energy Search with Urn of Vitality, which would still let you search for two basic Energy like with Professor's Letter, but it could also help you get Energy in the discard pile for Blaziken to attach. Second, you could give each player a Gladion at the start of the draft to help players find cards they need when they get stuck in the prize cards. Third, Beach Court/Skyarrow Bridge could be a more balanced Fighting Dojo replacement that helps Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee/Hitmontop execute their combo with less Energy waste (and let a less valuable basic take a hit after Hitmonchan uses Hit and Run) while still benefitting other decks. Apart from that, no suggestions. Great Trainer lineup! I enjoyed hearing your reasoning on including 2 Professor's Research, 2 Iono, 2 Counter Catcher, and 2 ACE SPECs. (I suggest looking up and opening "Pokémon Compendium EX", doing a word search for "Surprise! Time Machine," and reading the rulings. It's amazing what this card can do!)

@SWUCUBE Thanks for making this video. I myself have made a cube and published it on CubeKoga. It's called "(IRL) Family Cube Night Mutant Cube", and, as the name suggests, I was hoping my family could play it on game nights, but as the only person in my family who knew how to play was my brother, and as my dad has only just started learning and my mom and sister still show no interest, the irl cube was dismantled. However, I have continued to make revisions to the list over the years, and this video has inspired me to give the cube another look and a few more adjustments. I decided to add the Victini and Manaphy showcased in this video, as well as Kecleon from Sandstorm, which is the same type as each basic Energy attached to it (similar functionality to your Kecleon, but players can't mindlessly evolve it into a stage 1 of any type and don't get access to a mildly intimidating to terrifying attack). Hope your testing continues to do well.

I have been taking another look at this with the release of set 2. I think the big inclusions would be Wanted Insurgents, Valiant Assault Ship, and the Desperado Freighter. I also like Heroic Resolve, Cripple Authority, and the Hotshot Blaster from red. From yellow, I LOVE Let the Wookiee Win. I also like Coruscant Dissident & Fugitive Wookiee. Reckless Gunslinger & Criminal Muscle would be interesting inclusions to further build out the 1 drops. And Enfys Nest/Cloud Rider would be possibilities (as they might be tied to the Partisans lore wise). Finally, Cassian unit himself would be the BEST inclusion but I know we try to stay away from leader/unit combos. Lots of good stuff for this deck out of Set 2.

This series is so awesome!!! It not gives good starter decks to help friends get into the game, but also does a good job teaching you how to play the leaders without trying to look up crazy strategies

Really enjoy your content. You deserve way more subs. These battle boxes are a great idea to bring to the gameshop for new players

Hunter is a perfect fit for this style of deck - big on theming and his leader ability really lends itself into a heroic ramp strategy (something not really seen in heroism). It is also interesting this deck is slightly more tuned with more full playsets, but still balanced. Did you consider including Wolffe from Set 1 as a 1 of? He did have interactions with the Bad Batch and would have the clone synergy.

I pulled his showcase yesterday at my LGS! I needed some inspiration for a hunter. I don't make the rules but I must build him.

I really like this series. As someone who plays mostly casual games at home, these decks are great to just grab and play. I have built several of your decks and had a great time playing them against each other and the FFG starter decks. Great job, and keep up the good work.

in the decklist on swudb the detention block rescues are replaced by an open fire and an extra take captive. Which should I go for?

Do you have an idea whats the best way to come close to a set cube? Like how many boxes would you get before youre starting to buy single cards?

I'm short cards so waylay is replaced by spare the target, R2 is replaced by 3rd moisture farmer, and 3PO is replaced by the new falcon because it feels wrong to have chewy without the falcon.

Out of curiosity, if you were to make a somewhat competitive premier deck centered on the wookiee cards, which leader would you pick? I'm torn between young Han, Chewie and Rey?

On another note - I was bummed they did not include the Bowcaster as an upgrade this set. That would have been an auto-include as long as it wasn't legendary.

This is what i'm talking about! Awesome! Will definitely have to build this. With these decks, do you try not to include units that are the same character as the leader? Chewbacca: Loyal Companion & Pykesbane seem like natural fits. But I realize Pykesbane might have simply been too powerful - especially in combo with Tarrful.

Great job! I look forward to watching each of these as you produce them. Thoughts on Sugi for this deck? I realize she is a double aspect rare but her smuggle cost is not double aspected. So she could simply be smuggled in for 6. And with the various bounties you are placing on opponents, high chance her sentinel will be activated. Could be helpful for a mid-range grindy deck like this that doesn't have a ton of sentinel. Plus, I don't see a lot of opportunity to play her in other decks.
