We did the gangotri trek in year 2012 in peak summer. The landscape has totally changed. Climate change has really kicked in. We never had to cross the river and the trek to gaumukh was all the way to the left of bhagirathi only. On the right side there was hardly any space to walk. It was all ice. Now forget about left side which is no longer navigable, the right side looks devastated by landslides, no ice cover, the slope has shifted further away from the river bank. The trek almost had no ice cover till the very base of kalindi khal. Looks terrible

बहुत ही रोमांचक video था लेकिन इसमे कमेंट्री बहुत कम थी और वो भी मुंह ढक कर बोल रहा था जो की कई जगह साफ़ नहीं थी। background music बहुत ही ख़राब था। हर जगह के बारे और ज़्यादा detail में बताना चाहिए था height and temperature के साथ। Overall excellent video.

Thank you so much for the appreciation 🙏🏻 It takes 15 days June and september are the best months for this trek Our trek ends at ghastoli itbp camp, from there road starts and we take lift in itbp trucks till badrinath which is like 30 kms away

Bhai ji ye ek trek hai, iska normal dharmik yatra se koi connection nhi hai, bas fark itna hai ki ye trek Gangotri se Kedarnath ji ko connect karta hai, iske liye proper permission banwani padti hai aur registered company ko hi iski permission milti hai. Per person cost for Auden’s col expedition is rs 1 lakh 5 thousand + 5% gst. For Annapurna base camp trek you can go alone, you have to take permits from local authorities

Ye dono trek start Gangotri se hi hote hai lekin kalindi khal ke liye gaumukh ki taraf jana padta hai aur Auden’s col ke liye gangotri se pandav gufa ki taraf jaa kar left me rudugaira valley ki taraf jana padta hai. Dono treks ko sath nhi kiya ja sakta
