@@erickmendoza2403 I had to reroute the hoses through the radiator then from the radiator to the transmission cooler I noticed that when I was in traffic, the transmission would get way too hot now that I’m using both the radiator and the transmission cooler. The transmission is stain at 160 to 170

2019 GT mustang Aluminator 5.0L 12:1 n/a VMP tune roush cold induction, Magnaflow 3" comp. exhaust w X pipe and Calimer MT-82D D stage 1 sucks buy at least the stage 2 trans. cryo treated, mirco polish, carbon syn. rings and billet forks. I have ben through X clutch and McLeod RST then Mantic 9000 - so I think I know what the hell I am talking about. If your changing out the clutch upgrades need to be done elsewhere too. MMR pulse Ring, Boobma trans. mount DDS drive line. BMR Driveshaft guard, MGW spec @ short shifter, Steeda clutch spring, G-force half shifts, FHP differential, Steeda diff. brace, BMR stop the hop & k-brace kit, engine mounts. Just to name some. Upgrade the pulse ring get rid of OME ! engine and trans OME are gonna crap out real soon. McLeod RST 2017-2019 sucks go with the MANTIC 9000 smooth as butter and ROCK solid hook up to high performance aftermarket upgrades. Invest in Autosport roll cage to sniffing up the chassis- I have BMR rear strut brace and FHP front trust brace hooked up with Pedders coil over w external canisters. Backroad corners are a dream ! I understand a dad is helping out his son- I am luckily enough to have a job that pays well bc I busted my butt in college., plus in my late 60's- so I been around V8 and fast cars all my life. It is nice to see a Dad help up a son any DAY peace !

The V6 transmission did not support the power from the 4.8 L. There is a video showing the destruction of all the gears when I decided to do a pedal to the metal takeoff so I had to upgrade the gears to V8 gears now the transmission could handle the power, but if you find a T5, that’s V8 it will hold the power

How did you integrate the AC request circuit from the Merc to the GM compressor? Is it a +12 signal from the dashboard harness? Are you running either a hi and low pressure switch or perhaps a single trinary switch? What do you use to cycle the electric fans for when you request AC? I ask because I'm putting an LS in my 1992 Merc 500SL. I also am helping a friend put a Chevy engine in a 1981 Ford which also uses vacuum operated HVAC doors for vents and a very basic AC request line.

Hi, thank you for checking out my videos my FiTech Ecu turns on the fans when the AC clutch is engaged. I am running the pressure switch and the power to the compressor direct with a separate switch but the fitech ECU has a separate positive wire for the compressor to read the positive signal when it receives 12 V from the compressor it automatically turns on the radiator fan

If your car is tuned depending on which tuning device you have you can do it. I replaced my clutch few years ago and my car is tuned with a sct x4 and there was a crank relearn in the device menu.

I ended up doing it myself I was fortunate to have installed the ford pp2 upgrade with a calibration. Procal 3 software is able to perform the re-learn procedure. Forscan can also perform the procedure as well

This is a really good DIY video. Ive done this before and Im getting ready to do it again so I needed a refresher video and this was a good one....I do have one tip though. The top bolts are easier to get to if you loosen the trans mount and lower it a little. I remember this from the first time I did it, it was so much easier doing it that way. great video though....one last thing. With the money you save doing it yourself, spend the 150.00 and buy a trans jack, especially if you're doing it by yourself.

The T5 transmission that I’m using now with the new gear Swap is working beautifully. I kinda missed having a manual car that’s why I did this to the Mercedes plus the transmission that was in this car had over 250,000 miles so it was going to be time for a rebuild and I would’ve cost more money, but I already got my hands on another T56 that I’m gonna be swapping into the Mercedes soon .

Nice job on the vid. I did the same flush technique on my 2010/FX4 but used my autostart remote to cycle the engine. Just switched to Valvoline full syn Extended Protection ATF and gained 2mpg. It's got slightly higher viscosity 163 vs 155 and supposed to last 50% longer. Adding a tune next let's see if she'll go to 350.

Yes, the green flared port is more efficient than just running a regular PVC pipe. I tried both just because the green flared port is expensive but it’s worth the money.

Yes, once adjusted /cut the sealed side , the bass was more deep, and I was getting every note from the music..

That’s what rotaries sound like brother you got understand that’s a 1.3 L engine. It’s gonna sound like a lawn more. But once you get a bridge port, everything changes. But that’s what my customer wanted.

@foxtech1000 nothing sounds better than real muscle. I once had a 1974 Trans Am 455 SD. Small engines will always sound terrible in comparison. Sorry, just my opinion.

The 5speed that I have came out of a v6 Camaro and it works good, but when I started really getting on the car like pedal to the metal accelerations, the third gear crapped out So I ordered v8 gears from my 90 Z28 iroc and I used the v6 case and it worked out ,know it’s a beast, But the v6 t5 works if u baby it.

@@Caprice1977 nice yeah I was really curious about what pilot bearing to use I have the same pilot bearing that you installed I saw a article if the spine is sticking passed the bell Housing 3/4 to 1 inch use smaller pilot bearing if shorter 1/4 to 3/8 inch use the bigger pilot bearing you was installing thanks for replying can’t wait to get my nova on the with a 5 speed LS 👌

I don’t want 1-10 it’s a 5 brother not to hard I made the video of the motor mounts getting fabricated so like that someone that is trying to do the same build won’t have such a hard time building them
