thank you It applies well to planes. However, if the object on which the shadow is cast is a three-dimensional shape such as a box, it will not be completely transparent and will be visible on the screen. How can I solve this?

Hi, great tutorial, it works very well, but I have a problem, maybe something I'm missing. When I create the displacement node and connect it to the displacement output of the material, nothing happens, as if the node is not displacing the mesh, not even when I subdivide it. What could it be?🥲

Thanks Budd. Are you in Blender 4.2?
@emilianoceron546528 күн бұрын
@@Digitalfix-np8pq yes, i've redone the scene few time now and nothing, the rest of the tutorial works for me, still wanted to do some displacement for background of the scene, it must be something stupid Im missing, but dont know what. Blender 4.2.0, the node setup is the same. Not even in EEVEE or Cycles. Thanks for the reply. 👍 I will keep try to figure this out.

@@emilianoceron5465 The tips I have: Subdivide the mesh a bunch of times. after you have subdivided the mesh, go back to object mode to see the result. Tip 2: Apply all tranform, scale etc. And set the origin point to the center of the mesh. Let me know when you find the solution that works for you?
