I saw Dwayne and ReRun at this concert. Michael McDonald had to be held back from beating the shht out of them

The professionalism of this group of men is outstanding. I'm going to see them on August 15th, 2024 at Pine Knob in Clarkston, Michigan. It's an outside venue. I saw them back in 1982 at the same venue. Can't wait to listen to them light up Pine Knob one more time. Bonus, is that Steve Winwood is performing with them.

First time I was aware of them was when they were on “What’s Happening” and they busted one of the kids for bootlegging a concert. How things have come full circle. Also the classic line “Which Doobie, you be?”

Como a MTV era legal, cara. Imprevisível, natural... O que eu acho interessante é que era um formato gringo, mas uma linguagem muito brasileira.

Obrigado quem postou esse registro .. não estou aqui pela MTV Brasil aliás sequer assisti esse canal... Estou aqui por conta do prédio .. vocês tem noção da importância deste lugar ?? Foi a sede da Rede Tupi de Televisão a maior da América Latina na época, construído no início dos anos 60, pertencia ao Diário Associados foi fundado pelo Magnata Assis Chateaubriand.. esse lugar tem história . Imagina a quantidade de artistas que passaram por aí .. pesquisa gente para saber a história deste lugar que vai perceber que MTV era uma besteira perto do diamante histórico que é esse espigão . O prédio do lado que hoje pertence ao SBT e a ESPN era a área de Teledramaturgia da TUPI, Esse prédio funcionava rádios, a Tupi e a TV Cultura que também foi fundada por Assis.. 😢 infelizmente esse monumento está abandonado, aí deveria ser o museu da TV.. Que emoção ver esse lugar por dentro !

I was six years old in 1982 so at least I was alive when they did this. LOL! I was raised on real music and The Doobie Brothers always played on the radio! This band is so awesome! R.I.P. to Cornelius Bumpus (Sax, Keyboard, vocals) and most recently John Hartman (drums).

Fui duas vezes ao Teatro Fênix. Uma vez no Xou da Xuxa e outra no Jogo da Velha do Faustão. Saudades dessa época. Hoje na tv aberta não tem mais nada que preste.
