Reading these old comments it's nice to share brain cells with strangers in a game you love. The second I saw Area Zero I thought of Made in Abyss didn't help the fact they released a game based off the anime and THAT looked like it was DLC for Pokemon S/V. Someone mentioned Nier Automata and now, Person you just added a fat layer on top of my theories. Especially for me since I'm a Violet player and seeing all those mecha Pokemon from the future run around.
