God is the Father. That is how the ancient believers during the Old Testament times recognized God. The tenakh introduces God as the Father of Abraham and his descendents. Deuteronomy 32:3-4 and 6. So our God is our Father The New Testament believers learned from Jesus that God is their Father Mark 11:22 and 25-26 Have faith God your Father. The Father is in heaven John 4:21-24 Worship the Father who is God who is spirit John 6:27 God the Father Is the Father the one true God? 1 Chronicles 29:10-11 “LORD God of Israel our Father”…”Thou art exalted as head above all.” Malachi 2:10 Have we not all one Father? Hath not one God created us? Have we not all Av Echad? Hath not El Echad created us? Why do we commit chillul Brit Avoteinu by every man breaking faith with his brother? Malachi 2:10 - OJB Here we see echad means one. One father means one. One God means one God. Here the word El is used for God singular. God is the Father. The one Father created us. He is the one God who made us. Who is Jesus and is he God? He is the literal Son of God We know Jesus is divine because he is the Son of God. God spoke the truth when he spoke from heaven about Jesus. 2 Peter 1:17 KJV For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. How do we know is the Son of God instead of a son of God? God has sons of God by creation. He has sons of God by redemption. Jesus is the Son of God because he was begotten. He is a “being in the form of God” Philippians 2:6 KJV who had the “the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14 KJV John 1:18 KJV No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. No one has ever seen God. The only-begotten Son, who is close to the Father’s side, has made him known. John 1:18 - EHV Evangelical Heritage Version Only the Son could dwell in “the brightness of his glory” because he was the “express image” of his Father. John 8:42; 13:3 and 16:27 and 28 says Jesus “proceeded forth”, “was come from” and “came out from” and “came forth from the Father.” Even the disciples said in John 16:30 KJV - “we believe that thou camest forth from God.” I too believe literally that God expressed or pressed out his exact image of himself. I worship the Father and the Son. The first is the “Lord of heaven and earth.” The second is our Lord “in heaven and on earth.” It was important for Jesus to know that we know in his prayer in John 17:8 KJV - that we in the last days as well as the apostle to “have known surely that I [he] came out from thee” God our Father They shared the same glory before the Father made the heavens and the earth by and for the “Son of man.” The glory of God is Holy Spirit. Peter gives a summary of the gospel in Acts 10:34-44 KJV “Then Peter opened his mouth…” to describe what God did. Then in verse 38 he said, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” It was the ceremony accompanied by the anointment of God. God anointed his Son with his holy spirit. His Holy Spirit according to PSALMS 51:11 and 139:7 is associated with his presence. His presence is not neutral. His presence brings power or strength. Haggai 2:4 KJV Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts: Zechariah 4:6 KJV Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. The anointment of Jesus by God with his spirit was like the anointing upon Aaron’s head. It was to sanctify him and consecrate him. See LEVITICUS 8:12 and 21:10 and 21:12. What did Jesus see at his baptism? What did Jesus see? Matthew 3:16 KJV “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.” He saw the heavens opened and the Spirit of God was like a dove coming down upon him. There’s another person who could see the spirit of God. That was Stephen Acts 7:55-56 KJV “But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, [56] And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” What do they have in common? Each saw the heavens (day and night skies) give way to reveal the abode of God or the third heaven. That reminds me of another saint named Hiram Edson who had an insight or a vision of Jesus following his Father and entering the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary. I also think of Ezekiel. He saw the “heavens were opened” and he “saw visions of God.”

"Spirit of prophecy "... You saying Jesus was afraid He was going to lose His divinity when He died on the cross... That if so far from the truth it's a blasphemy. Jesus said that He lays down His life freely and He will take back His life. At no point in scripture was Jesus afraid of never being with the Father again because of imputed sin. You are foolish and spread lies.

@@YouthForTheEndTime Sounds shady. Why is there suffering now? What about all of the people that ever suffered. Sounds like an unethical stance.
@YouthForTheEndTime5 ай бұрын
There is suffering in our world now because of the transgression of the law by Eve and we paid the penalties 6000 years later
