Love the Pod. Ky, you say that Darrion Williams has low usage, but that's only because the horrible, shot chucking Pop Issacs took so many bad shots. With him gone (thank goodness) and a facilitator in there, Williams will be a top 50 player this season

I think comparing Lubin/Tyson to Fiddler/Zapala is disingenuous. Carolina has much more coming back and both Lubin and Tyson were better on better teams

I think the March results kind of validated the ACC and indicates some of the criticism was unfair and overly focused on the ACC beating itself up in conference play.

Lol Edey definitely got solved. UConn basically gave him ten points at the end of the game because they wanted Purdue not to shoot threes, it was a controlled burn. Plus the obvious offensive goaltend he had, very forgettable 37 point game. UConn on top

I get that NC State is in the 40s in Kenpom, but over the last 10 games this team has been about 5 points better in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency. They have absolutely been the beneficiary of some bracket and shooting luck, but it also feels like they made significant improvements down the stretch. They beat Kenpom number 7 (twice), 9, 13, and 31 by an average of 9.4 points to get here.

What are your thoughts on the Big 12 underperforming in the last two tournaments? Kansas state last year is the only team to overperform their seed and this year Texas is the only team to perform to their seed (Houston still pending).

Duke played Houston last year with many of the same pieces on the court in their preseason scrimmage. They know the physicality Houston will bring. Whether they are ready for it, we'll see.

Man I love you guys and look forward to every show but the Hubert Davis slander is real. Don't get me wrong, last year was awful. However, if any other coach made it to the national title game his first year as an 8 seed and then a #1 seed in his third year, y'all would be calling them a top 10 coach in the game.

@HD_414 is the team "that loaded" though? The only player that plays in the NBA from the final four team is leaky black and he's by no means a superstar. Maybe a team uses a 2nd round pick on Rj Davis or Harrison Ingram. But it's not like a Duke or Kentucky who are rostering 5 to 6 NBA players at a time and several lottery picks. And anyone that knows ball knows that the carolina team last year wasn't a top 15 or 20 team before the season started. The team the year prior was an 8 seed and lost maybe its most important piece to what UNC tries to do in Brady Manek. Because they finished runner up the year prior they were put as the #1 team when their overall talent was closer to unranked than #1. Do I think Hubert Davis is a top 10 coach? No not yet but will probably be there in the next few years. I dont think he's anywhere worth the criticism he gets every time his name is mentioned on 3MW, though. Ky acts like he's the worst coach in the country every time UNC is mentioned.

Micah being the #1 big for UF is kind of wild, I get analytics but Micah was in foul trouble a lot and didnt score much late from the field and he is 40% from the FT line. I hope Micah heals up well but I think losing Condon or Samuel would have been way worse for Florida.
