Auch eines der Sehnsuchtslieder jener Zeit. Man sich gut vorstellen, wie er durch Oklahoma reitet.

I have always thought "Blacula" had the best soundtrack of all the Blaxploitation movies. It certainly had some memorable songs. This is definitely one of them, along with "Main Chance" (Love theme).

Skinny backup singer is so proud of what he's got, he put it on display! And, I certainly wouldn't have kicked him our of my bed! But, in all honesty, I have always thought that William Marshall was sexy as hell "Blacula"! He was such a talented man. He was also an Opera singer.

I heard them live at Oberlin College in 1969. It was so novel then.

I heard them perform this in 1969 at Oberlin College in Ohio. Fantastic. Love the "doob-lee-ahh" at the end.

This work by Bach, as well as the vocal version, are both beautiful. But I must point out that the concerto is in F minor, not major.

I sang along as a child.. sang in classical choirs, in bands, became a professional singer. This today is still high class singing! Unbelievable how they all manage to sing together without a conductor. It still is great art to sing all the time so much together in tune! thank you for posting this, never knew the faces to the music. They are called The Swingle Singers. Love them - still !

Finalement... peut-être la plus belle et mélodieuse chanson de Sylvie Vartan composée par Jean Renard et Georges Aber qui ont été peu connus mais néanmoins talentueux.

The Swingles made Bach fun and the evidence is that Bach was a man who loved fun, and romance and humour which s why his Mathew Passion is so beautiful. You cannot have a sense of tragedy and pathos unless you also have a sense of humour. My dad taught me that. If you are prepared to laugh you should be prepared to cry. There is nothing shameful about tears,'

Disque extraordinaire. Magique. Inégalé encore à ce jour.
