They don’t actually appear as enemies in Halo 2; they appear as allies (though you can make them enemies if you kill enough of your allies in the level they appear in). The closest we get to fighting one as an actually enemy (without team-killing) is a glitched elite honor guard in the level Gravemind that can sometimes spawn in with a council member’s helmet.

If you ignore the way the IVs behaved in Halo 4 and 5 and solely look at how they behaved on Zeta Halo in Infinite coupled with the fact they chose to serve willingly and proved themselves by passing special forces selection and training, I'd say the IVs deserve more respect.

What i find very cool, is the fact that the vehicles of the UNSC are named like animals (Pelican, Scorpion, warthog etc) . In the German army our vehicles are also named after animals so i think thats pretty cool. We have a heavy duty transport called elephant. The halo elephant is also kind of a heavy duty transport in some way right?
