I fell in love with the 1794 Edition, but sadly I will not get one till the end of 25, at least. I refuse to deal with the recall headache. I have no desire or energy on a new truck. Very nice ride. Good video, BTW.

Great video! I am tackling this project this weekend. Did you end up using the brackets from the wiring harness box that you are supposed to drill through the truck to attach?

Thanks! I choose not to install the brackets. After using step it seems sturdy enough without it. I'm thinking about changing out the 4 leds to full strips since its not that bright at night time.

Great video, straight to the point. I’m going to be getting these now. I seen others installing these, I don’t know if these been updated or what. Because other installations of these don’t seat as flush as your install. I got the same ride on Father’s Day 🍻 I hope we’re safe man these recalls have me on edge. Waiting to hear a good update from Toyota before I start dumping money into my build. Just incase I have to do a buy back case

FYI…you put the bracket in backwards. It has to mount from the backside.

Tried both and depends on if you just need something that feeds or do drills. Slinger is half the price.

@@nicolasX2602I haven’t used proton, but the slinger only feeds with topspin on every shot. If you’re concerned with needing variable spins and control. Slinger seems a bit limited, more of a basic portable ball machine/big bag. Vs proton having a good variety and control. But yes price is probably double at least.. proton doesn’t seem like it can fit Too many balls at once either

1. how's the BT connection? does it disconnect at all? have you tried it w an apple watch? 2. the machine is well known to drift because of the elevation pin slides across the court surface. how bad is it? have you done anything to prevent it?
