I didn’t really intend to say people can’t or shouldn’t talk about or protest it I understand that people are pissed at their government sending their tax dollars to fund war crimes.. I was more trying to joke about people on social media who either engage in petty arguments that don’t accomplish anything, or who just try to attack/defend the morals of one side’s supporters instead of the actual parties that are responsible, or who use it for social/politcal clout (I know that makes me sound a bit like a crotchety old man but let’s be honest people have been doing that for decades). Stuff like the always seeing 59 billion articles from the likes of the NY post about student protests against Israel, but none about the actual war that caused them. Stuff about people always spamming “free Palestine “in the comments of any KZbin video even slightly related to Judaism. I get how the line about making a foreign conflict about yourself could’ve been misconstrued as being condescending , and maybe the whole thing was in poor taste. Again, I don’t mean to say that people can’t, or shouldn’t be doing these things, nor I trying to take a stance on the war itself even if I somehow unintentionally have. For lack of a better way to put it, I just find that some of the shit I see on social media, by no means all of it, but a decent percentage of it, does nothing but cause more polarization and petty arguments that don’t really help change minds or raise awareness for actual people are actually dying. Sorry for the long response, I just wanted to clarify and didn’t know how to phrase it

My apologies for the late response. My intent with my comment was to express my complaints that Memtastic’s “What can we defeat” posts were getting repetitive. Admittedly I acted rather rudely, and I apologize if I came off as disrespectful. I understand that you wished to reply to my comment, and community posts do not have replies. However, the way you phrased your reply makes it look as if I consistently go on his posts and mock them, which I do not. Plus, a large portion of that comment section were complaint similar to mine. I highly doubt that you took the time to your reply to every single one of them who have a video on their channel in their comment section.Even if somehow I was the only person in that section who had a video on their channel or who had a medium through which you could respond, it would’ve been much easier and more mature to just ignore the comment and move on, but I am perfectly fine with you expressing your opinion. Oh, and as for the things you said about my age that is neither factual nor insulting nor necessary to your reply.
