@9:30...how long did it take you to kill that ancient wyrm with EVs? I use a tamer mage treasure hunter. The mage part is just for health and getting around. I let my triton do all the work :)

Equip a Spell Channeling Mage Weapon -29 item. And level up magery using lower level spells.

I don't remember paying that much for UO in '97 (and money was tight in those days) here in the US. I loved UO at the start and I wasn't into pvp but lost interest after trammel. Now, in my old age, I've found UOAlive which is the most fun I've had in a very long time. With no pvp I am watching videos on champ spawns. Good video. I enjoyed it.

pvm gear is mostly useless against pks. you can potentially swap your gear for a more pvp suited one but his resist and parry arent 120, only has chivalry for healing and I doubt he has 4/6 fc fcr to rely on chiv heals, isn't carrying any potions/trapped box. safest thing to do is just leave the area :)

Don’t need mining anymore. - lockpick, cartography, and remove trap are mandatory. - cartography allows you to dig up to 10 tiles away. - I use mysticism and focus for damage and crowd control. - Magery for utility spells - med / resist can be the last slot

'97 UO here from catskills.... UO was in it's prime then. Game is a molded mess now. Also, this item insurance is BS. Takes the pvp murder risk/consequence/reward away.

There's lots of player-run servers doing that style of gameplay now. Some of them are plenty healthy with players.

Nothing like playing a uo made by a bunch of people who never played uo.... Free servers guy. Uo outlands. Ef ea and ef broadsword/mythic/origin whatever they are calling themselves this year.

@@joe-di6zf Ah ok, gotcha. I'll agree with UO Outlands being awesome but I haven't played on the retail UO servers since like 3'ish years after they released Trammell but I absolutely did not like the direction that it was headed then.

@Erik LS If you haven't yet, I HIGHLY recommend UO Outlands private server. It's absolutely amazing, been playing it for around 2 or so years on and off. Roughly ~5k people online every day, constant updates, additions and expansions on the game as well.

@@cyr4062 1.5k people running scripts, wha? There's like maybe ~200 on at any given time and that's probably too high, around Prev Bank maybe ~40 and in Shelter maybe ~100 (both those numbers are higher than actual) but that is it. No one sits anywhere else spamming because there are no other high traffic safe zones. Unless you count people scripting to level up other builds, maybe another couple hundred but scripting full builds are usually done in just a few days. All in all WAY less than 1.5k.

Mage shop in Moonglow has a pentagram. Say recdu recsu and it brings u to delucia mage shop. Island is east of there. Much faster

Sort of...you don't need Remove Trap but it makes life a lot easier with the high level maps.

IDK what half that stuff in you loot man' way past my time on UO. Power s crolls and everything else. I left the game when trammel came out. T2A or whatever it was called. But man o man if u wanna try the best UO Experience truly man if u haven't come on to UO Outlands. Its got 3k+ people online most the time. Its beautiful, i mean absolutely beautiful. My most favorite game of all time.

LOVE uo, i dont play the main crap aint since 2002 and wont! But i wanna see what the bosses are or champs as they call it! I play on outlands I do bosses daily normally, i had to come back and edit my comment but it looked fun tho!

UO Outlands is the absolute best, getting more updates and events etc monthly. Anyone interested in UO, I absolutely recommend UO Outlands as it is free as well.
