hi it might be your GUI or video card- this is an older version of videopad (what i had when I made the video). You might need an update. if its not that- try saving your image on different formats- try jpeg , pNG and tiff they should work?- if its not that i`m not sure ? good luck

@@GRobinsonWhite hello thank you for replying i figured out it was because i was trying to do it all in one.. i ended up exporting the video first then opened a new project then this works .. not one video i watched said that ..im using old version because mine did update but they wanted me to pay for registering the software again so i uninstalled and went back the old version

I really wish you were my photography teacher. I've been taught none of this and still expected to get an A with no guidance. I don't even know what I'm getting marked on or how I'm being assessed. Its been really stressful but you're videos have helped me a lot. They're so concise and informative, so I really have to thank you for this. This is perfect for students who haven't got the greatest teachers or those who have no inspiration or guidelines.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments. I'm really glad the vids help, it's been a tough year for you guys, the pandemic has made it a nightmare for the creative subjects. Good luck,try your best and you will be fine. If youre the type of student who is trying to improve their skills as you are by using KZbin to find out as much as you can then that is half the battle. All the best thanks

Very nice example but in AO2 I do not see the full mark as there was no record of how the process was performed and a cross examination to see if there was another way/technique to answer the artist link.

why not just use the slice tool?
@GRobinsonWhite4 жыл бұрын
I tried the slice tool 1st- but with my students using this being fairly new to Photoshop (2 weeks or so), they felt more confident using tools and shortcuts they had just learnt. It works well to help them physically conceive sizings as well helping them can get to grips with measurements for A4 and A2 using cm and px etc. On P7 I have found that the slice can misbehave a little as well and some students were getting a little miffed when it didnt go in the right place. Thanks for your comment :-)

This was great, I am a bit late but I was wondering if a5 sketchbook size is too small for y12
@GRobinsonWhite4 жыл бұрын
its a little small overall- it might be good to keep a smaller one on the go for quicker ideas and sketches- but you will need to show larger work in a sketchbook and supporting sheets. It will be really hard to get research and idea recorded in a small book- I`d go with A3- that way it is plenty big for doing all manor of tasks- A2 and A1 sketchbooks aren`t very transportable. good luck-

Sorry but jcq examination rules have stopped me from allowing them to be sent. I'm only allowed to show examples in my centre to my students. If you are at a school or college they should have examples for you to look at. Thanks

marcus harvey`s fingerprint painting might be a good one to look at 1st- you could develop a series of photos using layered fingerprints over portraits or do it in real life with finger paintings onto photographs (which could also be layered with original images)- I would recommend getting onto pinterest and seeing what that comes up with

@GRobinsonWhite6 жыл бұрын
Hi, this unit was fantastic- for showing how a student can personalise and experiment with a conventional idea- ending up with a totally different outcome than intended, which is very desirable from all exam boards at A-Level. This investigation really epitomises A04 and A02 in particular- I will email you the explainer given to the examiner which will give more detail- most of what you need can be found by looking carefully at the book (in the vid) as it progresses, to get the feeling of progression and development
