Good on you for your willingness to drop all this knowledge. Hourly pay in dealerships for detailers is common. There is no incentive for either speed or efficiency. Quite the opposite. Say 8hrs he details one unit and makes $100 that’s a hundred for 1 if he does 2 that half the pay and the more he does the less he makes. For the dealer speed to market is highly valued. More units on the line more opportunities for a sale. I would like to hear your thoughts about that. You have a link I can follow? Thanks for the video. Interesting stuff. Cheers 🎉

@@dfd4688 hey thanks for the tune in !! But yes when you’re on flag and you get paid 15hr and they paying you 4 hours a used car that’s 60$ per unit so if you do 2 units in 2 hours that’s 60$ a hour !!!!!!so the more units the more money new cars pay 1 to 2 hours per unit !!!

Most of the dealers in my area have abandoned hourly pay in favor of hiring outside companies and freelancers. I think it’s because of the high turnover rate. Im a bodyman i forgot to connect tge drains from a sunroof i installed. Car came back with water stains 2500 dollar headliner plus windshield needs to be removed to replce it. YOU JUST SAVED MY ASS THANK YOU!!!!
