Great work man. I really liked VZ's playing and tone. I used to play this right after the Big World album came out. On top of this I had to learn like 30 other songs that week to play a gig. I had this song kind of right but knew I was off in places. I worked out the kinks over time - No Internet then !

@@PierreBruynooghe U were the first person to get that chord in the second bar correctly. I used that voicing to try and simulate the fake guitar that was on Joe's demo. (He used to demo the songs on synths and we'd learn them.) I liked the weird harmonics of the cheesy guitar sample so I tried to duplicate it when I learned the part to play.

hello pierre , je joue ce morceau depuis plus de 25 ans et finalement je me suis rendu compte que je ne le jouait pas comme sur le disque (notamment toujours frustré pour les pêches d'intro et du couplet qui ne sonnaient pas pareil); après enquête voilà ce que je te conseilles : essayer pour les pêches de jouer les cordes à vides 000000 tout simplement ! et en staccato = bien saccadé en étouffant après chaque coups. Pour le riff : glisser de sol en la (3xxxxx -> 5xxxxx ) sur la Mi grave (pas de power chord juste une note c'est important pour le son) ensuite accentuation avec un rythme funky sur le La (5xxxxx) puis double stop case 5 sur les corde de Ré et Sol (edit : plutôt cordes de Sol et Si) xx(5)55x. Solo tout aussi basique : double stop xx(5)55x puis en aigue avec des glissés : xx(4)44x -> xx(5)55x -> xx(16)1616x -> xx(17)1717x

@@PierreBruynooghe Merci pour ta réponse de rien c'est moi qui te remercie car c'est grace à des gens comme toi qui partage qu'on arrive à progresser. Tu peux regarder les quelques lives du groupes aussi ça donne une bonne idée de l'état d'esprit (il joue souvent à un seul doigt) : ce ne sont pas des techniciens, tout est basé sur l'énergie mais j'adore car ça sonne vraiment bien et leur album était bon (avec plusiers titre notables). Ca me rappelle aussi dans l'état d'esprit les President of the usa, dans cette période des années 90
