WTH?!?! WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT?! Why was a Vet not called in? That's a HUGE wound that needs to be cleaned and stitched; medications to prevent infection. Take that animal to a sanctuary and report the owner. You really did a good job treating the wound and such a brilliant way to keep the hoof in the proper position, but the horse needs a VET.

Looks like a big farm, why not invest in a “crush” the same type as used by “the hoof GP” on you tube???

This is advanced disease due ti negligence from the owner. For that hoof to get to that point,...if took weeks without any medical care. People who cannot love & attend to their animals SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY. I am glad this guy is helping the cow, but the suffering could be avoided by earlier care by the owner.
