Once again 👌 Thank You for sharing your copy of this phenomenal performance!! LD produced the show before hitting it bigger with his and Jerry’s television series they’ve created of course I mean Seinfeld in the Spring Of’1989. I really appreciate your sharing these rarities of Ted Nugent’s performance! Great stuff from the Nuge!

Yeah 👍 it most certainly does look great for the time period being in 1980. Christ! Larry David’s television series before he would go on to create Seinfeld for sure!

I was a 14 yr old drummer when this came out. Alban Phisterer (Snoopy) and Lee both took turns at the drums and Alban got it. I spent many hours playing accented singles at increasing tempo using traditional grip but couldn’t get it. So I switched to matched grip and could reach tempo but couldn’t sustain it for 2+ minutes. Even with two drummers this Plant version falls flat. Listen to the original version and finger tap along with it.

Ted on fire! Of course he always is, but these Amboy Dukes "psychedelic" tunes are just off the rails good. I wish some of the shows from this era would get an official release. This show blows away the Survival of the Fittest release.

Ted was my third concert after Alice Cooper and Chicago TA. It was at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium on June 5, 1974 and was also with Mike Panera and Cactus and was billed as the guitar battle of the century...and it was.

You know I really enjoy this. It is very pleasant. It has an ethereal quality. However it definitely doesn't carry the weight of intention that LZ showed live. LZ was loosely tight, this is tightly loose.
