Hi @CheChe Okoye. I am a fresh graduate of masters of social work qnd currently loking for a first job in the field. I am looking to be a Positive Behavior Practitioner (NDIS) or support coordinator (NDIS) but i am not sure whether if i work in these sectors for one year, i will be eligible for the 5 points usually given if i were to work full time as a social worker.

I’m a little above 35 years and planning to do my masters in Australia. Pls what chances do I have at getting the post study work permit? Is it something I can work around?

The age restriction for those above 35 years is for post study visa (485). I’ve not know heard anybody that was denied yet because the policy just started this July. However, I think you can speak to an immigration agent and see if there is any way around it . Good luck ☺️
