hi there, how did you find the update? i have actually removed it i have run it on beach and field it seems jumpy and i feel i am missing coins especially coppers. what settings are you using with it please as i am using sids program dont know if ime doing right or wrong i did not factory reset when updated would this make a difference? thank you

Hi, I always do a factory after an update, I used field 2, I’ve adjusted my settings quite a bit and it’s running really nice. I’ve picked up small hammered with the new update. I’ll confirm my settings tomorrow when I’m home from work as I can’t 100% remember what’s what and I’ll let you know.

Yeah, I think the case would be to just play around with it, lower the sensitivity more etc. I have black sand where I am and it doesn’t like it unless I’m down a lot. I still pick up deep ish items

That’s how it is sometimes, I have a beet field and pull out roman and Saxon artefacts, I’ve been out with people what don’t get a single target and I do, could just need to slow down your swing and listen to the machine

I use the recovery because it’s middle ground I still reach very good depths and it can distinguish between targets

To be honest I’ve not tried this one on the beach but give it ago and let me know. You may need to make some adjustments to stable it out a bit, I do have the pirate mode what is a beach setup

Love your vids! Any tips for trashy areas to find more good targets? Usually walking where old buildinga was. Lot of iron trash and big cooper pieces. Buuut coins arround them.

I have a question no idea if you know, I have a vanquish 540 and doesn’t matter which mode sensitivity all the way down. It’s just going nuts constantly it will not be quiet. No idea what to do.

Thank you for this information. I just received my first metal detector The Legend. I watched this video late last night and put in all these settings and went on my first beach hunt this morning. It worked great! I didn't find anything precious but it rang loud and clear over all the targets I passed over. Especially the metals that resembles precious metal shapes. I found a junk ring and some pennies and it rang loud and clear.

Used God Mode for a couple hours today, trying to find a lost gold wedding ring. God mode is amazing. Super stable and smashing targets. I’ll keep using the diff modes and report back. @@TheRandomdetectorist

Hi, I just use a pick and a soft brush and some wax - never water - some scrap coins I’ll sometimes use pink stuff paste, it cleans great but don’t use on anything valuable

It will work with all coils and it all depends on what kind of ground / is it trashy etc - but you can try park m1 and then keep tones the same
