This is NOT an all metal. All 701s have plastic threads on both the tip and the end. There is a plastic sleeve inside the main body. That sleeve is what the tip and click mechanism thread to. The metal body is not threaded.

i have the Zebra Telescopic Ballpoint, it's similar to the Zebra SL-F1 just a bit longer. i love it! but i sadly lost the spring. i can't seem to find spare part being sold. i don't really wanna replace the pen cause it's already so old i wanna keep it

This is the best all around all metal pen. I put the Space cartridge in mine because I like blue ink. The best all around plastic pen is the Bic clear pen.

F 701 man here. I put the Fisher SPR1 (med blue) in all of mine and end up with an awesome EDC pen for $15, or less if you buy in multiples.

Zebra has made some great pens but crappy refills, so I just adapt/trim cheap plastic ballpoint pen refills to fit ... and they work great! I wish they also did the F-701 in sprayed-on black, blue, red, etc. I actually love the Zebra F-605, which is sadly no longer made ... I have two of them (plus the pencils) and they are beautiful!

This is far better than other pens that are made by people like Big TI. When buying pens, it should be primary for function and longevity, not aesthetic, it's better to buy a 6 dollars or cheaper pen than 120 dollars one which is more like to be lost than cheaper one.

I used to be a corpsman and I’m now a social worker. I used to love the metal zebra with black hard plastic grip but recently moved to the plastic sharpie pens. I’m definitely going to give this one a try

Absolutely the WORST customer service possible! DO NOT BUY FROM THE OFFICIAL STORE. I bought a flashlight from the official Chinese based website and I never received it. I contacted Customer Support THREE times before I received a reply from Ken. Ken said that the order was completed....so I asked for proof of delivery or attempted delivery. Ken sent me a screenshot from the delivery company which stated that it was delivered but no proof like a photo of the package at my apartment complex or a person who it was delivered to. The delivery company did not even attempt to contact me and I actually believe that the item was never sent. Ken now refuses to reply to my most recent few emails. For a large company like this, they will not satisfy a customer like me by sending (or re-sending if that is the case) a $30 flashlight....disgusting !!

I love my pen. I love that I have a flash light. I will probably never use it as a glass breaker. I wish it had more of a bayonet vs. screw, but beyond that I think it is perfect.

Great job on the kit. The Celox z-fold is $40, Hyfin Vent seals $16, s-rolled gauze $5, Soft Wide Tourniquet $38, Gloves & Sharpie are cheap.

I think the whole idea that one knife company owns a design is just silly. If another company wants to make a good knife, charge me one-sixth the price and I'm satisfied with the quality, workmanship, and materials... SO BE IT! I don't feel guilty for spending my money wisely.

I love that you laid them out in order of price, it really helped me realize that the 3 in the middle (Zebra, Tombow, Parker) are the sweet spot in terms of value. I've used Rotring for EDC and they just start scraping and peeling if thrown in a case with other pens, or just in a backpack pocket rattling around. In about a year or so they look super banged up. The Caran D'Ache is nice but offers nothing extra for the price, and the Space Pen can't compete with the Airpress imo.

My go to EDC pen is the BiC Round Stick.... 8 for 1.35 USD in Dollar Tree ... Most awsome pen for sketching. I like the Zebra F-701 for short note taking. I very much like the grib.
