My grandfather wore a leather sheath everyday with a simple pair of wire pliers until the day he passed away. The pliers he had weren’t nearly as nice as those. He had a large black Case Cattlemen in a second leather sheath with the top that snapped closed (I have it still its main blade is half gone from all the years on the “whitt rock” as my pawpaw called all sharpening stones. I was a kid I decided I’d wear one on my belt and carried a few different usually Case, or Buck brand knives. This was back in the early 90’s before I ever recall seeing knives like we all see or carry ourselves everyday that are in the style of that Benchmade you were flossin at the beginning of the video. Back then it was all about having the most collectible usually multi blade but also the old Case Sodbuster, Barlow brand, or Kissing Crane that made a few I have still the Canoe and Black Angus (sodbuster shape) and my little brother had the black Angus Jr along with another buster style the Old Mule. All had good easily sharpened German steel with Kissing Crane being made by a German company. Sorry history lesson is over now kids.

I wonder if you could lightly sand out the snail trails if it bothers someone? The colors are beautiful. I got the wood inlays because I thought the natural Titaniums looked very drab. That is not the case with those. I like to see people thumb flicking Sabenzas. It drives the Sebenza Snobs crazy. Mine is currently very flickable. Slow rolling is also exceptional.

It's weird that they didn't just make the F-701 black, seems like it would have been much better even if it was just anodizing or something cheap like that but ceracoated would be nice.

Please do not use a zip-lock bag to store water. Use it to keep things dry or, something I found helpful, keep lint from your drier or some Fritos chips in there. The lint is GREAT to get a fire going and you can light a Frito on fire and it’ll burn up nice because of the oils on the chip.

Hate to break it to you, but the F-701 is not all steel. The button housing is actually plastic. Good news though--it can be swapped out with the F-402 button housing, which is metal, resulting in an actual all steel F-701. You'll thank me one day.

If you can't open a tourniquet with one hand in 60 seconds, you don't have a tourniquet. This one is quite difficult to open.

This is NOT an all metal. All 701s have plastic threads on both the tip and the end. There is a plastic sleeve inside the main body. That sleeve is what the tip and click mechanism thread to. The metal body is not threaded.

i have the Zebra Telescopic Ballpoint, it's similar to the Zebra SL-F1 just a bit longer. i love it! but i sadly lost the spring. i can't seem to find spare part being sold. i don't really wanna replace the pen cause it's already so old i wanna keep it

Awesome pen . Ive a few . But i was working at a busy warehouse forklifts zipping by . They didn't survive. The bolt action bass pen did !

This is the best all around all metal pen. I put the Space cartridge in mine because I like blue ink. The best all around plastic pen is the Bic clear pen.

F 701 man here. I put the Fisher SPR1 (med blue) in all of mine and end up with an awesome EDC pen for $15, or less if you buy in multiples.

Zebra has made some great pens but crappy refills, so I just adapt/trim cheap plastic ballpoint pen refills to fit ... and they work great! I wish they also did the F-701 in sprayed-on black, blue, red, etc. I actually love the Zebra F-605, which is sadly no longer made ... I have two of them (plus the pencils) and they are beautiful!
